The location, the big living room, the kitchen where you can actually cook, the kindness of the host, the cleanliness in the bathroom, the AC that worked perfectly, the proximity to the beach, the mini markets at walking distance, the quiet and calm.

We had the 'Superior Double Room' on the top floor, with a balcony facing west. The owner was very lovely and helpful, and we were also able to check in early. The room was as shown in the photos. Nothing super luxurious, but clean, quiet, spacious, bed is comfortable, air conditioner is working. The kitchen had everything needed for a couple of people to cook. We enjoyed having breakfast or evening snack on the little balcony, which also had space to hang wet clothes. Towels and sheets were changed every second day or even more often - I lost count! They were even changed on the day before leaving when it wasn't really needed :) The location worked great for us. We didn't want the chaos of the main streets, they are very touristy, but everything was very easily accessible on foot. The street where the hotel is located is quiet, with only a few transfers to nearby hotels passing by, and it felt safe. There is a small grocery shop about a minute away and a bigger one around 10 minutes away, accessible from the main busier road. A couple of tavernas/pool bars are also on the same street, and we enjoyed the food at the one opposite the apartment where you can also use the pool. They are much quieter than those on the main streets. The beach is 8–10 minutes away and very easily accessible. We preferred this part of town to the central/south part for the beach - it is wider, and the sunbed area near the Apollo Hotel is much cosier and quieter. The other beach bars have very loud music, which, of course, depends on your taste. There is also plenty of space here to lie on your own towels. The buses to Rhodes city, Lindos, other east coast places, as well as airport is also very close.

This isn't really a complaint, but if you're looking for a more private view from the balcony, choose a room with an inner courtyard/garden view. Our balcony faced some shrubs and, further away, the main busy road, with mountains on the horizon (so on the plus side - lovely sunsets). There was some car noise from that main road with the balcony door open, but it didn't bother us.:) On the left you see a side view of the little street and other hotel balconies. The only tiny issue was the electrical box inside the room. One night, the electricity went out in part of the town, and that electrical box started shining a very bright light, possibly an emergency light or something. We covered it with a towel so we could sleep :D The electricity came back after an hour or two and the light switched off - so no big deal.

We loved this apartment! Nice indoor and outdoor places. Quiet area, what was nice especially travelling with kids. Shops and restaurants are close. Plunge pool was excellent. Wery good beds. Highly recommmend this accommondation! :)

It’s clean, comfortable and safe.

The room was very different with the photos on Booking. I was shocked when I first saw it. The room was so dark and old. The door of the room was extremely unsafe, it made me nervous. But i did not have a problem.
