The property has been renovated nicely, keeping lots of historic charm. It is large enough for a big family to enjoy. The location was fine for us, being a 20 min walk to the river.
The backyard was dirty and could use a cleaning; over grown with brush and lots of cigarettes and some rubbish. I also think cleaning the exterior of the windows would go a long way!

We had a wonderful stay at the Four Sisters in Dublin and would easily give it a 9 out of 10. It’s a charming place that truly felt like a home away from home.
What we loved:
- The Atmosphere & Staff: The hosts were incredibly welcoming, warm, and full of great local tips.
- Location: Perfectly situated for exploring Dublin. We could walk/quick uber drive to most of the main attractions, yet it was tucked away enough to offer a peaceful retreat from the city rush.
- Cleanliness & Comfort: The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and the beds were comfortable.
The only reasons we aren't giving it a perfect 5-star rating are just small things. First, the building is a bit thin-walled, so you can occasionally hear footsteps or muffled conversations from the hallway, neighboring rooms and especially from above. Second, the bathrooms were a bit unusual and quite small, but manageable.
Lastly the billiard table in the common area was a bit old, wobbly and slightly broken which made playing a proper game a little tricky.

Loved the character of the property. Beds were comfortable and there were a good selection of cleaning products/toiletries which we didn’t expect.
There were lots of maintenance jobs that were very simple to resolve but we felt were neglected. Walls marked, pictures hung at different levels, stair banister half painted/not finished and lots of other repair jobs to plasterwork that were left tatty or unfinished. The top floor shower didn’t consistently produce water and leaked onto the floor when it did work. The only communal sofa was broken and sloped in different directions, separating in the centre.
