Heliotopos is a beautiful place on a beautiful island. The accommodation is very well appointed with all you need for a relaxing stay.

It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was quiet and beautiful

It’s a bit away from the beach and the town

I loved the location. It was perfect to be away from the women's festival but close enough to walk. It felt nice to have a separation from the businesses of the town. I loved all the fruit trees available. I probably ate my bodyweight in figs and grapes. I wish the pomegranate was in season but they were still lovely to look at. I liked being able to make a coffee and sit on my balcony to watch the morning go by. The shower was powerful and I enjoyed the every other day cleaning schedule. This meant the room always stayed fresh. I had everything needed for a comfortable 2 week stay. The safe in the room didn't work but I felt comfortable leaving my laptop out when I went to town. The Internet was strong enough to work all day as well as stream movies at night. I especially enjoyed the drinks night the hosts held for all guests on week 2 of the festival. This really fostered good will and many people booked their return immediately afterwards.

The last 50 metres of the walk back is in darkness so can be a bit intimidating for a solo female traveller but I felt safe enough. Only thing that ever popped out of the bushes was a very vocal cat that liked to walk me back home.

The room and the location was lovely, the terrace was lovely. The bikes also sold it for us!!

The beds were really hard. You really need to get a chopping board. We didn’t get the room cleaned as the day Eleni came we were still in bed. It would have been good for a daily clean for the times we’re still in bed.
