The little home was very pleasant. We had the front area for the 4th of July week. It was immaculately clean and amply stocked. The host could not have been more accommodating, courteous and available. One complaint: while it is "walking" distance to beach, it's a long walk. It's about 3 football fields away from the beach so know that it's quite a trek. . . if you like treks.

We have visited Newport Beach many times, but this house was our favorite. We had fun in every direction, the beach, the store, and friends a street over. We loved the front and back porch access (We stayed in the front house). The furnishings were comfortable and extras (bikes and umbrellas) made the trip even more enjoyable. Check in and out was a breeze. We will be back!

Very close walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. Having a garage made parking So much easier. The manager was very nice and popped in frequently and communication was great. The front house worked great for our girls trip. Absolutely would stay here again. Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed for 5 nights with our 2 kids. It's a fantastic location just a few city blocks from the ocean as well as grocery stores and restaurants. For the price, can't beat the location. Bed was high for the kids but we used the foldout bed which they loved. Would recommend.

This cottage is perfect! Everything you need to have a perfect getaway is available: indoor & outdoor areas to relax (the massage chair in the living room was amazing), bikes and beach items, the bed was so comfortable and the linens were fresh and nice to slide into each night. The kitchen had everything we needed. This cottage is located among great restaurants and a grocery store and blocks from the beach! We were very pleased and are already planning our next visit!

We enjoyed the location and beach proximity. The available boogie boards, bikes and more were really appreciated.

Great location! Easy walk to the beach and grocery store! We did not have a car and did not have a problem walking to things. Family of 4 felt comfortable. I am only giving a 4 star rating because the couch was very uncomfortable. Otherwise everything was great!!

This beach cottage is the perfect getaway! Having the garage is a huge plus in Newport Beach as street parking on the weekends can be frustrating. The property is lovely, the beds are very comfortable and the furnishings are beautiful. Everything you might need for going to the beach is provided and shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. I will definitely book this place when coming to town.

We had such a relaxing time...we didn't want to leave! The amenities were perfect, and the cottage is within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and the beach. We would love to book this place again in the future!

Fantastic comfortable beds, perfect location, kitchen has everything you could ever need. Garage nearly impossible to park in and at times wasn't worth the stress. Couch is a pullout but completely worthless and desperately needs to be replaced. Its more comfortable to sit on the floor. Aside from that, i couldn't have asked for a better stay! Absolutely adorable spot just a block from grocery store and a few blocks from the beach. I'd definitely recommend staying here! Great for our family of 4

Darling cottage in a prime location! This place has everything needed for a wonderful beach vacation. Linda was very easy to work with…we will definitely stay here again! Note: although we were expecting the back house, we were in the front house.

This is one of my favorite VRBOs because of the proximity to everything that is accessible using the sweet cruiser bikes that were provided. It didn’t hurt to have amazing weather a little on the cool side that is typical of SoCo in the fall and winter. I want to bring family back here the next time I visit!

The owner was amazing. The condo had everything you need to spend the day at the beach. Nice to have a garage and washer and dryer!

We were welcomed by Linda personally and very lovingly everything was prepared for us. For the three of us the space was quite sufficient. Very pleasant to use. For our wishes Linda was helpful to us. it is very quiet and you have only short distances to the beach restaurants and shopping. Biking on the beach was a lot of fun for us. Come again with pleasure.

This is about the third time we've stayed with Linda we absolutely love her I do apologize that one day I left my dogs unattended and they caused a ruckus with barking but Linda is absolutely great always a pleasure to stay with her anything you need she will provide

This is the second time we’ve stayed here as we love the location, value and kindness of the owners. The apartment has everything you need (very well equipped) and is the perfect getaway for the 2 of us and our pup! We happened to visit during a record-breaking heatwave so places without AC (many at the beach) were pretty hot but the portable AC unit she provided helped. Overall, if you’re looking for a pleasant spot near the beach at a great value and wonderful hosts, this is the place! Thanks Linda, for everything! You know we love staying there and appreciate you! We’ll be back again.

Bungalow apartment style with private entrance coming from single car garage. Lower level has patio and grill, take stairs up to an outside porch and entrance to unit. Inside is living sitting area, table and kitchen. Upstairs private balcony. 2 bed and bath. Perfect for family of 4. Nice breeze through unit, walking to Pavillion store. Sancho tacos is so good, walking distance. Good location and felt private.

Perfect for groceries, restaurants and beach. Sleeping arrangements says 6 that’s a stretch, even with kids. Parking was doable thanks to the garage, but extremely close fit. Owners couldn’t have been more accommodating! Overall great experience!

We really enjoyed our wonderful Newport getaway! Gorgeous beach a few blocks away with easy access to the grocery store, shopping, and delicious restaurants. Our host was very helpful and responsive, taking extra care to make us feel especially welcome for our 20th anniversary with a delicious bottle of wine and cookies from a local bakery! We loved it and are so grateful for the have had this escape from the city!!
