When I tell you that this was the worst place to stay at…avoid it. There’s mold in bathroom, no hot water, stained linens/pillows, one tv was broken, broken toilet seat. When I messaged both the property manager Tyrone and check in clerk Jessica about this, I did not receive any communication back. In fact I was left on read by Jessica which is super unprofessional. Submitted a claim with Vrbo but didn’t receive any compensation from this merchant as if it was my fault neither of them didn’t respond. They should be and will be banned for this health hazard

There was black mold on the toilet, as well as the AC vents, and showers did not have hot water. However, there was more toilet paper than said and it was the good kind :)

We really enjoyed our stay and found everything to be super clean and accommodating. The location is close to lots of dining, great music, and shops. I love the extra security of the front gate and locked entryway. Management was super easy to work with and very responsive. She really helped me out when I left my phone in the building. We plan to search out this property everytime we visit New Orleans from now on.

Showers are pretty important to a nice vacation. These showers took 30-45 minutes to heat up and we didn’t know in advance. Pool is listed and not included. This rental seems awesome in pictures but it’s not as good as it seems. If you want hot showers that work when you arrive look elsewhere!

Newly remodeled accommodations close to everything within walking distance. You’ll hear all the noise if bedroom faces the street. Clean unit with superb communication from Jennifer. The only negative was a huge roach on the living room floor on out last day.

The property was spick and span clean; appeared to have been recently updated; great location in French Quarter- easy walking distance to everything; it’s on a relatively quiet street ( quieter than other places we have stayed in the French Quarter.) We all had a great time in this lovely apartment. I would definitely recommend this property to those wanting to stay in the French Quarter.

For Mother’s Day weekend my husband and I and our 2 adult children stayed 3 nights. Great location, can easily walk throughout the French Quarter. Just a couple blocks from Bourbon St. so the majority of the noise is not heard. There were a few time during the night that you hear loud music or people outside but being on the 3rd floor it’s at a min. I would highly recommend this place.

Property was perfect for our group of 4 for an extended weekend getaway. The location is fantastic, it's right in the "heart" of NOLA in the French Quarter so you can walk to everything easily. The apartment itself was clean, stocked with basic necessities and was very spacious. It has been updated, so the inside is trendy and new. Only issue I had was that communication about the property came directly from My Southern Comfort via email and not through VRBO and I didn't know to look for the former so I had a few minor hiccups with check-in because the emails were going to my junk mail and I didn't see them. Luckily Tyrone was very responsive and he got us set up with all the details we needed quickly and was able to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting NOLA and I would 100% stay here again. Just know that communication will come through the My Southern Comfort address and not VRBO.

Great location. Quick to foodie joints, bourbon street and even Frenchman st. Walk to the casino, events, bars, clubs, breakfast Lunch and dinner. Convenience stores nearby. This room was a very comfortable stay. Plenty of towels and pillows to share and temperature controlled. Our particular unit had 1 broken TV, it “worked” but it clearly was mistreated as it was purple down the right 1/3 of the picture and didn’t have volume. The master bathroom door didn’t latch which wasn’t too big of an issue for us, but I could see it being a problem. Our sheets and pillow cases are weren’t the cleanest but we just washed them once over with the provided washer dryer in unit and detergent our host provided for us. This location is not quiet by any means and if you have a normal sleep pattern or trouble sleeping, do not choose this rental. I did however feel secure. If you are in New Orleans for the wild night life and access to nearby events and many tours, then this is a great spot. You never have to drive anywhere unless you choose to stretch to the swamp boat tours or a parade in a nearby city.

Perfect setting for experiencing this beautiful vibrant city on foot. We were glad we did not bring a car though as parking appeared to be an issue. Also: it stays loud at night, so bring ear plugs for a good night sleep!

Our stay at The Rousseau was perfect. Easy access into the property and great location to explore the French Quarter.

This rental is in a good location and the building was safe and the unit itself was very clean and nice inside. My problem was the complete rudeness of the hosts. I texted and called with a parking question which was never answered and I ended up getting a ticket. Then I texted about some previous damage in the unit, I got a short response but no offer to fix the broken towel bar. After that I texted both contact numbers asking how to operate the shower in the first bathroom and received no response at all so my daughter used my shower the whole time. Not a huge inconvenience but extremely rude. So as long as you don't have any issues while you are there, this is a good rental. I stay at VRBO's all over the country and abroad and you can always tell which hosts are in it as a business and which hosts have a genuine concern about your stay and your experience.

The apartment was spacious and well appointed. Overall it was ideal for our needs. There were a few minor fit & finishes deficiencies that would be easy to correct and earn my 5th star. The location was ideal to explore the heart of the city. It was a bit noisy outside on Halloween weekend but the atmosphere on the street more than made up for that. Wifi was super slow- if that is important to you.

The condo was in a fabulous, close to everything and perfect for our needs. Does not look anything like the photos posted on VRBO. No fault of the condo, but very noisy in the evening. Perfect location!!

Property was very nice, clean and conveniently located. We were able to walk to pretty much everything that we wanted to do. I would definitely stay here again. Comfortable, decor was lovely, and spacious. No issues, just the internet went out once and the kitchen sink was backed up but not an issue as we did not cook.

This VRBO was clean, well decorated, and comfortable. It is in a good location for walking. It gets loud in the early morning but ok in the night. Love the layout and the Kiel's products.

It was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go. I thought there might be bottles of water, however we did not have any. Beds were very comfortable.

These pictures are not an accurate reflection of the property. The furniture is different. The exposed brick is sheet rocked which changed the character and charm. Plus the place needed minor repairs. There is no pool. It is a glorified fountain that has not been maintained and was unusable. It was filled with murky water and had debris in it. No thank you!

The condo building was beautiful and very secure! The condo itself was beautiful and very spacious. Huge TV, Bosch appliances, and very comfortable beds! It was close to everything, but really quiet at night. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

Very clean, beautiful, updated property close walking distance to Jackson Square and Burbon Street. Parking was a block and a half away and expensive, but understandable in NOLA. Kind of a pain with luggage and drinks. Quiet area with the exception of the morning trash collection and train nearby. I will definitely use this property on our next visit and recommend to friends and family!

Excellent property and location. Check in was unorthodox but worked just as they said. Property manager was absurdly available no idea how they did it. All smart TV which was nice. Centrally located in the French quarter a few blocks west of Jackson Square. Cannot emphasize enough how helpful the hosts were.

Close to everything. The residence is 5 star! Only reason for the 4 star is due to housekeeping. The place overall was clean. It was the small stuff that was a bit unsettling. The kitchen sponge was very used and old, the bed spread in one of the rooms had several stains, no extra tp, and the kitchen cabinet handles did not look clean. Jennifer the manager was responsive, but I felt I was being nicpicky about the water and toilet paper, so did not complain about a other stuff. The water temp in shower stayed lukewarm, for a day/night. But did get hot the next day. Maybe a heads up about that in the future would be good. You are in Nola, so expect loud sounds all through the night. Building is old, so it is not sound proof. Bring ear plugs. Otherwise the owner of the condo did an amazing job with high quality appliances and decorations. We were pleasantly surprised that there are 3 bedrooms, not two. More seating in the great room and the furniture is different then pictured! Overall the place was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Could not download the App that allows access to the Condo. The Agent opened the door remotely. After a few stressful hours ( and several phone calls) the Agent brought over key fobs that allowed access. That was the only issue during our stay. The fobs should have been available from the start. Will stay here again.

Very clean condo. Had a great time. However, Checkin using phone app keys never would work. Pool listed as amenity- no pool. (Would not have booked here in July otherwise). Pool was locked & clearly had not been used in quite some time.

We had a great experience staying at Southern Comfort. It was very central to everything we did and we were able to walk everywhere. The place was very clean and it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We were even able to watch the fireworks from our bed. We loved The Ruby Slipper for breakfast. We didn't find the pool until the 2nd day but we enjoyed it with a cocktail in the evenings. We would definitely recommend staying here. Check in was so easy. Thank you Tyrone! Can't wait to visit again!

This place is amazing! The perfect location. Within walking distance of everything. All of the amenities are updated. The property manager was very prompt with every question I had, and the check in was very simple. Can not wait to go back!
