Very comfortable and cozy space with a nice outdoor courtyard as well. Bedroom and bathroom were both plenty large enough and the bed was very comfortable. Great, walkable location. We didn’t use our car once as we walked to all of the Mardi Gras parades and festivities as well as all our favorite restaurants and bars Uptown. Checkin was a breeze.

Our stay here was the highlight of our vacation in New Orleans. The place had a private backyard garden with a picnic table to work from and enjoy our time together. The location is quiet and the street is safe with beautiful homes. It is also within walking distance to Magazine Street (great for shopping) and the green, St Charles Street trolley.
We suggest everyone book the cooking experience with Dominique. He is very open to customizing the experience from cooking classes to dinner, so we chose a 5-course dinner and wine pairing. My partner and I travel the world chasing tasty dishes (from a hole in the walls to Michelin stars) and we were blown away by all 5 courses and the flavour combinations he created. Absolutely, A MUST DO!

We rented this place based in large part on the reviews and the location. To be clear, the location was great, the host was responsive and I don't know that the pix are deceptive. That being said, this is not a 5-star experience or place. The window a/c units could not keep the place cool and there was a musty smell. The linens were threadbare and low quality. There were flying insects in the space. The wifi was spotty. The furniture was rickety and there was barely enough space for 1 person to move around inside. We had to check out and check into a hotel.

Instructions for getting in were excellent, couches comfortable, bathroom excellent. Plenty of plugs for our electronics. Friendly & accomodating host.

Everything was nice. Very small apartment, with a lil extra space for a few guests to visit. Small room fridge to put you drinks and sodas in, and the top self can fit a few small food items. No stove so unable to cook, but when you visit somewhere, most of the time you eat out or do take out anyways. Some of my family came to visit and we all sat on the sofa and had some drinks and listened to music, and they loved the location too. Everything was comfortable. Conveniently located in the middle of everything. Owner was great with communication.

The cottage is tucked in behind a home with several other cottages. I was given directions on how to get to it, but could not find it, especially in the dark. It ended up going into the neighbors yard, which scared me quite a bit once I found out I was in the wrong place. Do could be my fault. Other than that it was a perfect little place for a couple of days in New Orleans. Like others said it’s close to restaurants and the trolley to get to the French Quarter.

We had the most amazing time in New Orleans this weekend and our rental made it even that much more pleasurable. The property is beautiful, quiet, and clean. It's only minutes from downtown and within walking distance to some neat shops and good food. I will definitely be returning.

This was a fantastic small lodging for me going to a conference during the week and my husband working on computer in the garden. Easy to walk to Magazine street and I took public transportation easily to Canal St. Host was great. We had a good and productive time.

We had an excellent stay! The unit is tucked away in a backyard and provides a wonderful space for relaxing and unwinding. The neighborhood is low key and filled with stunning homes. Magazine St. is a fun area to stroll and the tram is a short walk directly north. Could not be more pleased. Thanks for hosting us!!!

Dominques property was exactly as seen online. We had a great time in NOLA on our visit. I recommend using ride sharing to get around.

I came into town with my fiancé for a conference and did not want to stay in the conference hotel. This property was the perfect alternative. It was quiet and private despite being on the owners property. Owner was extremely nice and helpful. The neighborhood was safe and a nice distance from the business of the city but still close to do things. We were very comfortable!

Dominique is an AMAZING and helpful host. The location is perfect! You can walk to Magazine St. and St. Charles for the trolleys. It's was quiet and peaceful. I really enjoyed sitting out on the picnic table with my laptop in the "secret garden". Will DEFINITELY be staying here again. Thank you Dominique for EVERYTHING!

Pictures on the web can be deceptive, accentuating the positives and not showing the negatives. This place was better than the pix and perfect for my visit with my college student son. In a city experiencing a rise in crime, this property felt safe and clean. Nothing bad to report.
