Great place and safe for my family.

This is our 2nd time staying in a house managed by iTrip Charleston Beaches. They do a nice job, are well organized, and very efficient. The Opal House is a well appointed house with nice amenities. We had everything that we needed from meal prep and serving, to relaxing on the porches, and having movie night. We enjoyed our time and would not hesitate to stay again.

We had our annual “girls weekend” here and the place could not have been more perfect. It comfortably accommodates 10-12. Each room is so beautifully appointed… beds very comfortable, decor is high-end. Each sleeping quarters has its own bath. The “hang out” spaces are the best. There is a front and back deck, both so comfortable to enjoy coffee, drinks, and lots of conversation. The kitchen is very well stocked with all you will need. They have thought of every detail. It is a short walk to a lovely beach (about a block along the quiet neighborhood cul-de-sac). Central pool and large hot tub. Such a perfect place to enjoy time with friends or family!

Great stay at this beautiful house. Owners were very responsive and the location was perfect.

The property was generally very good. The wooden steps in the rear had some slippery green algae which should be addressed.

Brought our boys to look at The Citadel. Definitely where you want to stay if you're down looking at U of Charleston or The Citadel.

Property was very clean and stocked with just about every thing you need. Accurate description online and great communication throughout!

This house is beautiful! It is on a cul-de-sac and in a gated community so it feels very safe and cozy. The walk to both the beach and the pool is short and easy. Seven girls stayed her for a 30th birthday celebration and we never had any issues with water pressure or lack of hot water! We absolutely loved the balcony just off the kitchen/living room, as well as looking out over the lagoon at the turtles and alligators chilling on the bit of grass on the other side! The only thing to keep in mind is that since this house is located deep into the Wild Dunes community, it is a bit of a drive to get to downtown or the airport. It was about a 40 minute drive to the airport one way, and since everyone was coming in at different times/days, it made for a lot of time in the car. However, if you are not wanting to venture downtown much and are happy with staying on IOP, this house is perfect!

Very nice, spacious house with great indoor and outdoor areas. Appropriately priced for the available amenities. Very quick walk to the beach.

We booked this home last minute and were pleasantly surprised with how nice everything was. The home is in a gated community, within a gated community so it’s incredibly secure and safe. The beach access is a quick three minute walk and the home has beach chairs, boogie boards and a beach cart. It’s a spacious home with room for everyone and the furnishings are well-appointed and thoughtfully placed. The screened porch at the back of the house overlooks a pond that has a golf ball driving range. We enjoyed seeing several birds and deer each morning and evening. While we visited in August, the beach was not crowded at all. There is also a pool and large hot tub that serves the community that is a two minute walk from the house. We used both each day we were there and pretty much had the place to ourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are already making plans to book this house next year.

The Opal House is located close to a large community pool and hot tub, as well as a short walk from the beach boardwalk. The home is beautiful and well-stocked with all the comforts and amenities needed during your stay at the Isle of Palms. From check-in to check-out, we had excellent communication with the hosts. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend The Opal House for large families!

Our family of 10 so enjoyed our 4 day oceanside vacation. The house is beautiful and extremely well equipped. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is waiting for you to enjoy!

We stayed at Opal House for a ladies weekend/friends trip. This house had a wow factor and all of the guests loved it. We had 10 people and there was plenty of space. The house was very comfortable and the 3 large bedrooms and basement space served us well. There were enough bathrooms that each bedroom had their own (one used the hall bath). The kitchen was spacious and had all the amenities to cook. We enjoyed many laughs around the kitchen table and in the living room. We enjoyed morning coffee on the screened in porch and outdoor chairs by the water. Kitchen and grill were great for family style meals. Very short walk to the pool/hot tub and beach is also very close. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful home in a very private community. The home is exactly as described. The beach is minutes away and extremely private. Our family had a fantastic time and will likely return!

We rented this house for an annual girls trip, and it was perfect! The home was well stocked and clean, and property managers were quick to respond to messages. With a larger group, this house had a great layout in that we could easily all be together, but also have alone time on the decks, etc. great location to the beach and the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back!

Such a lovely place. The only downside was the steps especially for the people staying on the first floor. We were six aging people who are all still very active but still a challenge .

We had two families stay at the house. It was a great house for us and the kids especially enjoyed hitting golf shots from the backyard. The house also is very conveniently located near the beach and neighborhood pool.

Home was nice. Community it was within was very nice. Really enjoyed the outdoor deck and balcony. Be aware of flying golf balls when sitting outside by the firepit. Overall a very good stay.

Loved our time at the Opal House in Wild Dunes. March is a wonderful time of year to visit the lowcountry, and Steven & the team made our visit completely stress-free and perfect in every way. Can't say enough about the house and the rental experience - highly recommend and we'll be back!

We loved our stay in the Opal House! The home is well stocked and comfortable and offers everything you may need. The beach is close and peaceful and shelling was great. We walked the trails daily. Everyone in the neighborhood is so friendly. We hope to be back soon!!!

This was a last minute weekend get away for us that ended up being just perfect! The property itself was clean and more than accommodating for our four children. Lots of space for us to spread out! We loved watching sunsets, deer and alligators off of the back porch. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved the little personal touches like beach toys for the kids and wine for the parents! Thank you so much for having us! Be sure to check out the fantastic restaurants and amenities on the resort property… No real reason to leave the island!

We really enjoyed our stay at Opal House. The house was as listed. Very clean and a good quiet location within Wild Dunes. The beach access was as described. Kitchen had everything we needed. The kiddos enjoyed the lower level. Outside coffee/fire pit was really cute. The only downside was the master bedroom mattress. We have pretty high standards for mattresses, but this was less than a hotel quality. I’m still giving 5 stars bc the listing was as described and we had an amazing trip.

This house was very Beautiful! We visited in early December and the weather happened to be gorgeous. Although we didn’t get to use the beach or pool, the views were absolutely spectacular. The home was very accommodating and had everything I mean everything we needed and more! I’d definitely consider here staying here next time I visit Charleston again!

Really enjoyed our time. They did a great job welcoming and answering a couple questions timely. Great pool and hot tub and super close to beach. The place was in perfect condition. Would rent again.
