Overall, we were pleased with our stay. Dog friendly. Nice porches. Close to the beach. Clean. Tv upstairs took some doing to get working - after market remote didn’t want to play nice. Not really anything in the way of some of the basics - salt, pepper, trash bags, laundry detergent, but did have soap, shampoo, conditioner, dishwasher pods. Great water pressure. Delivered as promised.

The house was perfect for our family... close walk to the beach. The kitchen is stocked with everything we needed to cook amazing seafood dinners!

Good space to gather but enough rooms to spread out

The house was the perfect location and size for our family vacation. However we were disappointed with the condition of the house. The house felt very worn. The walls in the bathroom were cracked and had peeling paint. The mattresses is all of the bedrooms were uncomfortable. The racks in the dishwasher were rusty making the dishwasher unusable. Some of the boards on the steps of the outdoor deck were very weak. With a little TLC, this house could be quite charming.

Everything was nice except the weather was cooler then usual.

Overall, this was a great house and close to everything and centrally located to everywhere in the OBX. I am really disappointed that we had to wait outside in the driveway for 2 hours or more until we could get the correct code to enter the house on a cold winter night. Finally, a maintenance man called to help us, and the 6th code was the one that worked. It worked because it was nothing like the others the rental company VACASSA gave us. The house was pretty clean. Crumbs in the couch cushions had been there for a long time, and the stuff under the couch was as well. The kitchen was the problem; the overhead lights and fan had significant electrical issues, as did the light over the sink. Leaving us with barely any lights to cook by. The best light was natural and what we could get from the closet pantry. I reported these issues to management, but I know someone checked in right after us, so there is no way they were fixed by then. The bedrooms were nice the beds were comfy. There was a great washer and dryer downstairs in the entryway. The weekend was nasty, but had it not been, we would have really enjoyed the deck space. It was great for the dogs. I appreciate the dogs friendly house. Some people travel with their pets, and it was nice not to have a two-dog limit. Four dog max was marvelous. There were 4 of us, and we each had a dog. Some dogs are well-behaved, and so we are able to take them places. I would rent this house again; just scared of the light situation in the kitchen. Great house. Ask about the kitchen light issues.

This was our Christmas vacation for kids they enjoyed the time away from normal living and weather was nice too.

Loved the exit to decks from every room.
