We loved this cute, quaint apartment!2 couple and 17 year old and it was perfect! Great amenities in the kitchen! Just a short walk to middle of Altea where the beautiful church is located! Victor communicated all the details and was very helpful!! Would stay here again! Note that no a/c in living room and kitchen but fans and a/ c downstairs made it pleasant!! Thanks for a great stay!!

The entry is welcoming and the bedrooms are inviting, but more importantly, as you venture up a flight of stairs you are greeted by a comfortable sitting area mere steps away from formal dining and a fully equipped kitchen. As you turn from the sitting area and gaze out across the very usable balcony you are confronted with a beautiful vista across part of Altea to the harbour below and the headlands of Serra Gelada... very scenic and impressive... a sight you will enjoy every day! The amenities go on! Broadband is very quick and television is complete from Netflix, Amazon Prime and a host of channels including BBC! You won’t want for entertainment or simple relaxation, and the fast broadband permits easy and efficient communication with friends and relatives. Location... the apartment is but a short jaunt from the delights of the old Pueblo - the church, the plaza, enumerable shops and a multitude of good restaurants! Yes, there are steps and inclines to navigate in some cases... take your time and enjoy the streets of old town or perhaps venture down to the beach, the beachfront and even more shops and restaurants! It has been a fantastic month long stay at Vic’s apartment and certainly one we won’t soon forget! Perhaps the most important aspects are the timely responses and thoughtful assistance provided by Vic. All aspects have been fabulous, indeed, and last but not least, there are the people of this wonderful village! Overall this is simply an outstanding place - we will be back!

My sister and I recently got back from Altea and felt we should say how much we enjoyed staying in Victor’s flat. Although situated on a steepish hill, the flat’s position provides wonderful views across the bay, and it’s just a couple of minutes from Altea’s lovely church square. We didn’t hire a car, so it was great to find the railway station was just a short walk down the hill on the way to the sea-front. The promenade is full of lovely cafes and bars, plus a bicycle hire shop, which we made use of. The flat itself is full of character and contained everything we needed. The kitchen is fully equipped, and it was nice to have the use of two bathrooms. As our visit was in the winter, we did watch a little television, and it was fantastic to have a fast broadband connection that allowed us to get Netflix properly. We needed to re-set the valuables safe so we were really grateful for the help of Anita and Stuart who look after the flat for Victor. If you’re after staying in a property that’s welcoming and homely, then this is the one for you. We’re definitely going to stay there again – next time in the summer.

Nous avons passé une semaine superbe chez Victor à Altéa. L'appartement est magnifique avec une vue sublime sur la mer. Il est situé à 10mn à pied de la plage et au cœur de la vielle ville. Victor est très accueillant et accessible. Il a répondu à chacune de nos demandes dans un temps record et toujours avec gentillesse. Je tiens à le remercier chaleureusement. Altéa est une très belle ville pittoresque avec ses petites ruelles et ses boutiques. Nous avons eu un vrai coup de cœur... Attention si vous avez des enfants en bas âges, il y a des escaliers partout...pas évident avec les poussettes ;-) Le bord de mer est plus accessible et il y a beaucoup de restaurants. Nous retournons là-bas sans soucis et retournerons chez Victor les yeux fermés car nous avons passé un super séjour.

We had never been to Altea before and when looking for somewhere to stay we were immediately attracted by the views over the bay from the terrace and we were definitely not disappointed. The apartment is traditional yet with all mod cons and is really well set out with the 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and the kitchen, dining area and lounge on the 2nd floor with the really good sized terrace. The views from inside the apartment and from the terrace over the bay of Altea are really breath taking and we enjoyed many hours just chilling here. While we only ate breakfast in the apartment the kitchen is really well equipped with lots of equipment and utensils as well as a dishwasher. A small utility room off the kitchen has the washing machine, fridge and freezer. Victor was very helpful throughout the booking process and provided lots of information about the apartment and surrounding area including organising a taxi to collect us at the airport. The welcome pack which included water, milk, bread, butter, sugar, coffee, wine and tonic water was most welcome as our flight was delayed over 4hrs and everywhere was closed when we got there at 1.30am. The apartment is only 5 minutes from the main square at the old church with the numerous restaurants, bars and shops and only about 10 mins from the beach. The quality of the apartment and it's location (and that view!) really helped make our holiday in Altea one to remember and we would definitely recommend it to anyone. We will definitely be back sometime in the future.

We where initially unsure of what to expect as we had not booked this type of holiday before but the owner was able to set us at ease and supply all the information requested. When we entered the apartment and went up the stairs to the living area the view that hits you made the holiday, we sat for hours just relaxing and looking at the views. The accommodation was first class a home from home with all the facilities you could ask for, the short walk to the town square with its beautiful church and several choices of bars and restaurants both in the square and radiating from it the whitewashed street catering for all tastes. It turned out to be just the relaxing holiday we needed, we have recommended this property and its owner to our family and friends and are seriously considering another visit in the near future.

My friend and I had a week’s stay in Apartamento Piteres, and the only problem was we wish it could have been longer. First impressions of the apartment were the amount of space and airiness and the absolutely stunning views from the lounge and balcony. The apartment had all the facilities we needed, and we loved sitting out on the terrace with it’s great views of the bay – both during the day and at night! This was our first time in Altea, and we were surprised how lovely it is. We discovered the flat was just a few minutes walk to the church square in the old town where there are loads of really good restaurants and bars. Because there was so much to do we hardly watched TV, but it was good having all the main UK TV channels. There is also a very good sound system in the lounge- we connected our iPhones and streamed on wifi which was perfect for enjoying music whilst out on the balcony. We hired bicycles to explore the beautiful areas in and around Altea, and even went into Benidorm, which I suppose is the flipside of the coin, but fun all the same. We would definitely recommend this apartment, which is so well situated. We’re now looking forward to our next visit.

Apartamento Piteres is situated in a fantastic location high up near the church square in the old town with outstanding views down to the seafront. The property is light, airy, very spacious and relaxing with everything included to make your stay comfortable. Vic is really helpful and attentive making sure everything is satisfactory.We had excellent communication regarding arrangements both whilst in the UK and in Spain. Nothing was any trouble. There is so much to see and do in this area, you really are spoilt for choice. We did a couple of half day walks which were quite strenuous at times but with views to die for. We also drove the coast road from Altea up towards Denia stopping off at Calpe and Moraira and various other photo stops - beautiful. We visited Fuentes de Algar - don't forget to take your costumes if you go. We also had a fun few hours in Benidorm which we did by train. There are restaurants in abundance both in Altea old town and on the sea front with menus to suit all tastes and pockets. We were a group of 4 (2 couples). We enjoyed days together and days doing our own thing. Our favourite spot was on the balcony early evening before dinner and late evening after dinner discussing the days events - Just perfect. Don't hesitate in booking this rental - just do it - you won't be disappointed.

What a fab apartment! We stayed here for a week in July and didn't want to leave. The views from the balcony are outstanding. We ended up staying in an extra evening than planned, just so we could enjoy them more. One night there was a fork lighting storm but even that was amazing watching it from the balcony. The apartment had everything we could have possibly needed and more. The kitchen was really well equipped with all the appliances, utensils and condiments you would find at home. The bedrooms had more than ample storage for clothes. The main bedroom also had a gorgeous view of the sea which was wonderful to wake up to! One of the en-suite bathrooms even had his / her sinks which is great for couples. Plenty of bed linen, towels and beach towels were provided. WiFi worked flawlessly during our stay and was impressively fast for a holiday home. Even though we didn't use the TV often it had seemed to have a good selection of satellite foreign channels and UK channels streamed via the internet. The owner Vic was extremely helpful, always replying to our emails quickly and didn't mind our numerous questions. Location is perfect! 1 minute (if that!) up the steps to the beautiful restaurants in the old town. You will be spoilt for choice as Altea has many excellent restaurants. Easy walking distance to the sea front. If you have a car (which I would recommend) then you can visit lots of different beaches with ease. Overall we had a brilliant stay and will be going back soon!

The apartment was just gorgeous. The views are stunning and the photos do not do the view justice. It is well equipped with attention to detail and tastefully decorated to a high standard. Shops and restaurants are just a few minutes walk away as is the beach. VIc the owner has clearly thought about giving guests a beautiful place to stay and was so helpful and attentive. Definitely recommend and we plan to book a return stay. Altea is beautiful and what a place to stay to enjoy it in style.

We just returned after 2 very good weeks in Altea. The apartment was exactly as described, easy to find even as we arrived at 05.00 in the morning. It was easy to get into and very well equipped. The complex is very beautiful and well thought of with spacious terraces. There is a big parking for 120 cars at the end of the road in case the parking at the apartment is occupied. There is a heater too in the apartment in case the weather is cold. Many of the restaurants were closed for the winter. We went to eat at restaurant el Canonge near the church. Dont ever do that again. They served the meat half cold on cold plates and the coffee was not better. We liked the chinese restaurants. We had the biggest sole I have ever seen at the international cinnese restaurant and they only charged 10 euro for it. They are very kind, the food is good and the plates are warm. We has plenty of walking tours in the area but still there possibilities for new walking tours. We will return, but probably in october when the weather is warmer. We had days with only 9 degrees.

We recommend you come here and I'm sure the owner will give you our details for a longer chat. Perfect location for a more Spanish holiday than the nearby resorts in an apartment that is spacious and well equipped. As we are seasoned travellers who always put our own holidays together, we can tell you that there is nothing to chance here-it does exactly what it says in the information.

My partner and I had a very relaxing week in Altea staying in this apartment. It is centrally located for the old town with its charming square and church and also the esplanade with its bars and restaurants. Ideal for the evening paseo! The apartment was easy to find and clean and tidy with plenty of towels and linen and all the usual mod cons. The view from the terrace is stunning overlooking the med. A car is a recommendation, not only to get from Alicante airport but also for site seeing particularly inland to the mountain villages and the lagoons and rice growing region of the Levante south of Valencia. I certainlt will suggest it to my friends, notwithstanding the strength of the euro! Stuart October 2008

We have just returned from a short break at Apartamento Piteres and were delighted with the accommodation. Before departure we received detailed information and friendly communication from the owner about everything that we needed to know. On arrival the apartment was spotlessly clean and there was an (unexpected) pack of groceries to get us going. Everything was exactly as described or better, and the apartment was both well-equipped and well-maintained. It's location two minutes from the Church Square was perfect for us, and the views from the living area and balcony were great. For some people the absence of UK TV channels on the TV would be a problem, but for us it was a bonus! And there was a cd player, with selection of classical music, and a DVD player with an assortment of films for those who feel the need. This is a great base for an out of season break exploring the area, or equally in the summer it's proximity to some great beaches would make it family-friendly.

Beautiful apartment, everything you need for a relaxed holiday. Excellent facilities, kitchen fully equipped, bathrooms spacious and light, comfortable and cool bedrooms, fabulous views from the balcony and only 200 yds from all the bars and restaurants in the Old Town. Very accurate description of the property, and it was very clean and well maintained. Friendly and helpful owner. Couldn't ask for better. Would highly recommend it!
