Olivia was a gracious host and the room was amazing! We were in awe as soon as we walked into the room and saw the ocean through the open patio windows. The space is simple and spacious, and was exactly the vibe we wanted from a small beach town. The breakfast spread was huge and check in/out was easy.

Casa das Conchas is a beautifully appointed guesthouse situated on a quiet residential street about 15 minutes walk from the lively town centre. The bedroom was large, airy, comfortable, with plenty of wardrobe space, a balcony with a sea view, and a large bathroom with a good shower. The hostess, Olivia, was very friendly, helpful and responsive (during the booking process, when we had some questions about the room; before arrival, when confirming our arrival and check-in time; and while we were there when we had questions about local facilities). Although there was no breakfast option (at least that I was aware of), the hostess allowed us to use her (excellent!) coffee and coffee-making facilities and it's possible to prepare your own food in the large kitchen area (or there are plenty of cafes in and around the town centre). The house was spotlessly clean, light, airy and very tastefully decorated. Being situated slightly out of town, it was also very quiet at night. I would certainly consider staying again if I return to Ericeira and would happily recommend it as a place to stay.

host was great / couldn’t do enough for me. breakfast was superb - I had to give up and there was still plenty left. quiet area (residential.) booked at last minute on a cycling trip and all went smoothly.

a bit far away from centre where restaurants are. walk didn’t do me any harm but could have done without it after cycle. property a little tired looking but I only needed somewhere to sleep so not a problem for me.

The house seemed like it belonged by the sea and offered lots of space to work and relax.

A little musty - my clothes smelled like moth balls and mildew after departure, but it’s a older house by the ocean, so it’s expected!

The view and the place was great ! the room was perfect for a couple! all the house is beautiful and the location is perfect because is quiet and near the center . Olivia the owner is a great person she also give is a ride to the bus station when we check out ,we love staying here . we recommend 100% staying here :)

Location and easy parking

Room, bathroom and house in general was mouldy, very humid and it smelled of damp. Even the bed linen felt humid and not comfortable at all. I also believe people were living in the house which made the experience uncomfortable.

For the price it's a great place. The location was fine for me because it was close to the yoga studio I want to. It's a bit worn but still quite nice. Olivia, the owner, manager, do everything person is great and extremely helpful. There is a kitchen which I took advantage of in the mornings making myself breakfast. I highly recommend Casa das conchas!
