Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful experience at Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail. From the moment we arrived, everything was excellent. The hotel is beautiful, luxurious, clean, and very well maintained. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with amazing views. The private beach, swimming pools, and water park are fantastic, especially for families with children. The staff were very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. The service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and luxurious. The location in Lusail is also perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special thank you to all the staff for their warm hospitality and excellent service. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail to families, couples, and anyone looking for a luxury stay in Qatar. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!

The hotel itself is beautiful and luxurious, and we had a good overall experience. However, the morning breakfast buffet was very disappointing. There was a very long queue and waiting time to enter and access the breakfast buffet. For a hotel of this standard, the breakfast arrangements and crowd management could be much better. I hope the management will look into this and improve the breakfast service, especially during busy mornings, so guests can enjoy a more comfortable and pleasant experience.

I loved everything about the hotel. The location was excellent. The facilities. The staff. It was really amazing. Will definitely be staying at this hotel again. Staff members like Saffa at the front desk and Aya at guest services really went the extra mile and made the stay even more better.

The pool and beach area closes early by like 19:00 so even if it’s still really hot, you can’t use the facilities. The gold cart doesn’t take you directly to the mall; just to the entrance of the hotel so you still have to walk over the road.

The property is very new and very beautiful. My room was really lovely and a small gift was left for me at turn down which was a really nice touch. There was a very spacious lobby and the breakfast was really great, especially upstairs in the Italian restaurant. The pool play area was great for kids and there was always a cabana available for our group. There was chilled water by the pool which was much appreciated. Most of the staff were very friendly. The sushi samba restaurant was really good quality.

I raised my issues to the hotel manager while I was at the hotel. There was a significant amount of construction going on by the pool. I would suggest to call the hotel and see if this has been completed before you book and if it has not then I would not recommend staying here. There is significant construction work going on in front of and behind the pool area. Firstly this was incredibly noisy (chain saws on metal, diggers, lorry’s reversing) all day. More importantly this posed a danger to the child in our group. Sparks from the construction were landing on the pathway next to the pool where children were playing and nearly hit the child we were travelling with. The lifeguard had to yell at the workers to stop so we could walk past. We raised this 4 times with hotel management (over message, in person by the pool, once at the front desk and once with the hotel manager). I asked if they could simply block the path so no children would run past the construction site and be at risk and nothing happened. I asked the manager why we weren’t notified there would be significant construction work done while we were visiting and he said this was not possible through booking.com (when I had been contacted by them on booking.com and via WhatsApp before my stay). Our concerns were just batted away my the staff. This will be a lovely hotel once they finish building it but for now we wished we had stayed elsewhere.
