Beautiful resort. The girl at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. Multiple pools and fire pits, tennis courts. So much to do and the grounds are so beautiful filled with birds fish and turtles!

The grounds are beautiful and proximity to the beach was amazing. The weather was a bit cool but the heated pool was warm enough for our kids to still enjoy time swimming and they were excited about that! My spa experience (hydrating facial) was amazing and my husband took the kids to play mini gold right next door while I enjoyed extra time in the hot tub, sauna, etc. The employees were so kind, funny, and helpful and the dinners at the Barefoot Bar & Grill is top notch. The kids loved looking for sea life in the lagoon near the restaurant and the chess, checkers, and jenga in the lobby were a big hit. The central location to Sea World and the Zoo were key and we primarily just used Ubers to avoid the $42/night parking fee. We only rented a car from the airport to head to Legoland. Facilities are very clean and comfortable and we would definitely stay here again :)

It was beautiful. There was a couple of things that bothered me though. Parking fee 44.00, resort fee 40.00 per room for I don't even know what and there is no prices listed on your room service menu which made me order Doordash instead.

The place is not a 4 star hotel. The rooms had ants in it. Interior needs an update and pool was not working.

Overpriced and no resort activities actually included in high room price or daily “resort fee” $44 per night - other than gym access which should be complimentary. Parking is also additional $42 per night! When parking should also be complimentary. All other resort activities such as spa , fire pit use, or water sports were only available at an additional cost, and meals at the resort restaurants were not included. The view of Mission Bay from beachside bar and grill was fair, being partially blocked by docked boat, and the restaurant was besieged by pigeons and seagulls, with guano overly abundant in dining areas which is hardly appetizing. The food was of a good quality- about 3 stars out of 5 - but the food was not worth the $76 price for simple , non-gourmet cheeseburger, fries , small piece of cake, and margarita. This resort has a small private beach which is a plus but no beach chairs provided - but available at an additional cost. This place nickles and dimes its patrons at luxury prices - but without providing a luxury experience. The room and bathroom were not cleaned appropriately so I decided to wait to get home to shower since I only stayed 2 nights. The small lanai are the back of the room I had would have been better if the chairs provided had a cushion or were clean - instead the hard wooden chair was dirty and uncomfortable. Also, no awning or cover provided so you can bake in the sun on the lanai if it is a sunny day - which usually it is in San Diego.
