General condition was poor

Must applaud the cleanliness of room considering there were workers renovating minutes before we checked in. Aside from the dirty hand towel and holes in the bathroom walls, the room was in good condition and comfortable. Air conditioner was pleasantly frigid to beat the 100 degrees outside. Big drawback was no elevator so access to any room included stairs up or down, definitely not elderly or disabled friendly. Hallways were being painted and repaired on our level but only unsightly, no paint smell. Picture in ad is fantasy, retouched and cgi. Actually much more dingy on outside, no landscaping, shares parking lot and driveway with adjacent burgerking.

You have to climb stairs even if you are on the first floor. Also the TV didn’t turn on and off in less you did it manually from the back of the YV, and there were no cups in the room, only 2 pillows on the bed

water main busted while we were. Did not have a cable tv guide. Something strange in the bathtub.

Waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check us in. The worker was rude and acted like he was bothered by us. Signs were posted that they were remodeling but it didn’t seem like the hotel should be open with how bad it was. The “ground floor” was basically a basement. It smelled horrendous, like burnt rubber. There was no room numbers on the wall just papers taped to the top of the doors with number on them. The inside of the room was not terrible but not clean in the slightest. Hair balls all over the floor. The window was a medium sized basement window that was on the ground to the outside. The curtains were ripped and stained. The thicker curtain didn’t close so anyone could see inside as there was no way to close the curtain. We felt very unsafe and uncomfortable. Immediately booked with a different hotel. Please save yourself the money and don’t book here.

At first glance, the room looked wonderful. But, when I looked closer, cleanliness was a bit of a problem. Hair, not mine, and dirt on the floor. A moldy shower curtain. One of the sparsest continental breakfasts that I’ve ever seen.

I never ever been in such a horrible place in my life. I sure will never go into another quality inn in-my life. Dirty, no towels or soap , toilet bowl did not work, no hot water in the early AM , Breakfast NON etc. And I was charged twice for one room which may be Expedia fault. I had nothing but problems with Expedia there’s another company I will never use.

Very friendly staff . I have stayed at the Pell City location several times The same gentleman housekeeper is very helpful . He goes out of his way to assist .

They made us pay a deposit for smoking we don’t and the romm and hall way smelled like smoke. The bath tub had pubic hairs in it. Why the deposit? The towels were damp

Stood at the desk for 15 minutes when I was trying to check in. I am not a fan of the $50 deposit without being told in advance. I stayed at a different hotel my final night in Alabama and no deposit. It was cheaper and a much better room as well. went to breakfast and no spoons for cereal, and I was there early. My big issues is that for nearly $100 for this room, I expected MUCH better. I had a $60 room my final night that blew this one away. Not even close, in fact.

This hotel is under construction, is putting it lightly. You can smell the asphalt and rubber throughout the hotel as soon as you step foot in the hallway. No Latch on my door, bugs all over the place, All Over, one working light, no working shower, windows wide open, freezing temperatures in the room and hallway, bathtub didn't even run water. Changed rooms, it only got worse. Front desk lady was nice and semi accommodating, however the construction issues were simply a nightmare and no fault of her own but due to Horrific Management. My boys and I were unable to stay one night here, the conditions were uninhabitable. Ive never experienced anything like it and hope to never again.

Found a used condom in the toilet. Never have I been so grosse out!!

1st room was not cleaned, was offered a different room, smelled of cigarettes, staff came and sprayed room freshener so strong it gagged us. No elevator, had to drag our suitcases and things up and down 1/2 flight of stairs.

TV volume was broken. Room very stinky from ac. Was mistakenly charged for 2 nights when only stayed one.

Ok, first of all completely my fault for not reading the description, but be aware this hotel has NO ELEVATORS!! In a three story hotel I am not sure how that is even possible, but there you have it. We always unpack our car because I am fearful of the car being broken into while we travel, we had to leave our luggage in the car for this reason as we could not lug 2 weeks worth of vacation packing up and down a flight of stairs and down a long hallway. Upon check in the lady at the front desk was very unfriendly, she seemed upset to be there and it showed in her check in process with me. The hotel is not clean. I know know you get what you pay for and when traveling just over night before we get to our destination I do not want to pay high prices just to sleep, I also do not get the cheapest either, I try to get right in the middle. The pictures on the hotels.com website looked nice, obviously outdated. I really feel they could do better with cleaning. The walls were scrapped up with paint missing, rust and dirt in the bathtub, toilet dirty, had a musty smell, these are things that could be easily taken care of. Again, I didn’t except the Waldorf Astoria, but a little better than this would have been nice. We planned to stay in this same place when we come home in 12 days but we are canceling and booking something else, maybe spending a little more to get something a little nicer.

It seemed that towels were not refilled After last guest, there was an used wash cloth hanging from shower rod and we only had 2 clean towels, no coffee nachine and no tissue

Late night check in. The lady made guests use a secure door like the area was unsafe. To unfamiliar guests I would think that was unnerving. But she tried programing keys 6 times before she finally got up to open the door. Long walk back and forth six times with luggage. No stairs either

The room just felt not clean. Walls were dirty and need painting. (See picture) There was a spider close to the floor by the bathtub. (See picture) I had to ask for a do not disturb sign for the door. Overall the room was just ok.

The Staff was AMAZING! WOULD STAY AGAIN!

Hotel was ok. No elevator, which I missed in the description, but was manageable. Dead bugs in the window sill, smoke detector hanging off the ceiling and bathroom fan not attached well on the bathroom ceiling. My daughter liked the breakfast area. Fine for a night but probably wouldn’t stay here again.
