My stay at Crowne Plaza was ok. I wish they had a better late check out request process. I was told I had to call the morning of my check out to ask if I could do a late check out. Not ideal, especially if you really needed a later check out. When I did call they told me the latest I could stay was 12:30pm (check out is normally 12pm). I guess something of better than nothing? Also they need to work on their computer/key system. Everything says check out is at 12pm but my key stopped working at 11am. I had to go back down to the check in desk to have them reactivate it. Then at 11:30am housekeeping came to all how much longer I was going to be in the room. I told them I was told I could stay until 12:30pm. She then asked me how many minute until I was going to be done. I again told her I was told I could stay until 12:30pm. She didn’t really seem to understand or was just irritated with me but she left anyways.

No working phone, they checked us out at 9 am and housekeeping walked in on me naked. Horrible experience.

Room very clean spacious comfortable.

The property was very clean and the staff was very nice. The room was large & the bed was very comfortable. The only thing was that the restaurant on the property was not very good but there were tons of places to eat in the area.

It was fine for what I needed: clean, safe, convenient to where I needed to be, and reasonably priced for the area.

Guests were literally yelling in the hallways till 12:45 am, and in the parking lot screaming till 4am. I told the front desk. A lady named Sylvia claiming to be the manager, would not stop to listen to my complaint of the ongoing disturbance. I took a video of it all and will be contacting the hotel for a complete refund.

They were very skimpy with toiletries and they left us no coffee or even cups or sugars for our last morning. About 2 hours before check-out they cutoff access to their wifi and sent a message that we are no longer eligible to use their free wifi

Everything was great, very clean, staff was attentive. Great location. Really nice pool area. Two things were lacking-a microwave in the room and electric vehicle charging stations. On our last morning, the maids knocked even though we had the Do not Disturb sign out still. A little annoying.

Check in was less than satisfying. There were three employees at the front and only one greeted me and let me know she would help me as soon as she was done with the guest she was helping. The other two didn’t even acknowledge me or offer to help me even though we made eye contact multiple times. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Bed is a bit higher than most hotels but it was okay for me (I’m 5’3”)

Had a late check in, 630pm during the long holiday weekend (Labor Day). Got into the room and found the iron defective. Called the front desk to advise of the issue and asking for a replacement to iron my dinner shirt. Front desk tells me there is no one working in housekeeping during a long, holiday weekend. Decided to extend one more day given the issue since it was convenient to my relatives’ home. Let the front desk know of the situation but still cleaned my room and left no towels for me to use. Improve your CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

We often stay at this hotel when visiting family and it is comfortable and the staff is nice. I would suggest an upgrade on the buffet breakfast which I paid in advance along with my reservation. The food was basic and not really good and the same exact items each day. Due to this we only ate there twice. Will see if Expedia will refund the remaining days..probably wont.

My wife and I stayed for the first time at Crowne and enjoyed the overall experience 👍.Nice and quiet- great check in -nice room - check out👍. I know it’s near impossible to be perfect so here goes. At 9:30am in the morning we’re getting up since we had to be in the Berkeley area for a 2pm.meeting and the maid service started knocking on doors on the bottom floor.My wife and are getting it together w/packing and showering etc. My wife opened the door and asked why the knocking occurred and the response from down the hallway was ,”I don’t speak English” so my wife replied in Spanish since she is bilingual .No answer given as they went off giggling- I know being perfect isn’t possible and perhaps I’m making too much of this but why do you allow this type of wake-up process.My wife was really bothered by it and I’m really annoyed by this process since check out was At 12noon. When we checked out we spoke to a professional front desk staff member that assured us this isn’t their policy(wake ups by knocking)and this would be forwarded to that department head ( house keeping). Thanks for enduring through this lengthy message!!! I am going to phone to manager to discuss more so to understand and better serve your customer- though trivial it may seem it can be annoying. Thanks again for the wonderful restful evening .

Old and dirty. Carpets have decades of stains in them, which can't be removed with a vacuum cleaner. WiFi is unusable in the room. Had to send emails from the lobby.

Breakfast timing is not accurate, actually finishes at 9AM which seems early for a Saturday. Clean, just feels a bit outdated but room was cleaned everyday and staff was nice.

One of the bed was sagging and was very uncomfortable for two people to sleep on the same bed. We called and went to the front desk and asked for an extra blanket so that one person can sleep on the floor. They said they don’t have extra blankets and did not give us an extra blanket. They did not want to switch our room either. Very uncomfortable two nights, very disappointed and will not stay there again
