The beds could be better We had to change room beds were horrible

This property is in the hotel zone of San Jose Del Cabo with one of the most awesome beaches for long morning walks, and if you are not renting a vehicle, it is a short half hour walk into the downtown area of beautiful downtown San Jose Del Cabo

Small and friendly. One restaurant but what they they do well. Quiet adult oriented. Enjoyed but not posh so if you need that then not the place. Great staff made stay great.

This stay had everything we needed in the hotel district of San Jose del Cabo. The meals were delicious, with a nice variety of local foods as well as some other choices. The servers at meal time are helpful and attentive. The room was clean and roomy with everything we needed. The beach access and pool are just as lovely as the pictures. It's surrounded by larger luxury resorts, all far more expensive. We travel on a teacher's budget, so we don't want high prices, we want a clean and enjoyable place, and this delivered. The one negative was the concierge: we soon learned the concierge staff was there to aggressively upsell, so we avoided them the whole stay.

Beautiful place and great service

Enjoyed the ocean front property. Quiet sleeps and cheerful staff. Nice pool and swim up bar excellent poolside food as well. Exactly what I was looking for. Great for families and singles a like. I think I will go back!

In all the staff were great, the room was dirty, it smelled like sewage, there building a new hotel next door and it’s noisy early in the morning and throughout the day, the food was horrible and drinks are serviced in cheap plastic cups, terrible entertainment really there was no entertainment beside a bit of music in morning. I never ever go back to this hotel. Oh ya I asked for all inclusive when I booked and when got there was charged apparently they didn’t include it so I payed $600 extra when doing it the machines denied my card 3 times she said but got charged for all, good thing is by end of week my bank took care it but they refused to fix it right away so I ended up stressed over this.

Staff is incredible

Do not go there. Do not waste your money. Depressing and dirty rooms. My bed smelled like dirty hair. Pool was dirty. Food reminded me of hospital food. We could not eat it. It was such a waste of money.

Old facility - clean but don't expect anything fancy. Service form staff is almost rude. Good breakfast. Easy access to beach which is very good.

Couldn't get Internet, only 2 bottles of water then wanted you to refill them for rest of time. Container always empty and dirty. Food poor

This place is not well maintained...dirty bathrooms, tile in the pool is chipping everywhere so watch your feet bc they will get cut and construction going on next door. Do yourself a huge favor and pay a little extra to stay at Royal Demaracon a few blocks away.

This wonderful older hotel is small, safe, right on the beach. It is only three stories tall, surrounded by larger, taller newer, and much more expensive properties. Nevertheless, Hotel Posada Real had everything we wanted: just nice enough, decent facilities, pretty gardens, very convenient location, good walk-ability to local restaurants, shopping, transportation, great beach location. We saw breeching whales, hundreds of dolphins, and fishing pelicans every day. The view of the beach and ocean from our room was unobstructed other than a few beautiful palm trees. The cleaning crew was responsive and did a great job. There was plenty of hotel personnel in view at all times ready to serve us without being obtrusive. The beach taco bar was very good and the beverage bar service was prompt and caring. We did not opt in the the all-inclusive package since we wanted to explore restaurants and live music in the area. We were very happy to find great food and wonderful live music at many locations within walking distance.

We would not stay here again. The only positive was upgrading to ocean view room suite,(basically 2 rooms) Although It was run down, we liked the extra space and also getting more privacy away from all the noise near the pool area. Also regret getting all inclusive as the food was very poor except for the breakfasts (good if you get an omelet / fruit) but even than wasted money as we decided to eat out every day for better food and drinks. They use cheap 20 year old plastic glasses when ordering drinks which makes you feel you're at a cheap motel. The beach chairs & tables were also the cheap plastic type that you can find at Walmart. Overall the only enjoyment was the view from our rooms, being close to the beach, and being able to use the fridge and partial kitchen for groceries we bought at the grocery store.

What a wonderful place to stay! The staff are so accommodating and friendly. Food was great, every night a theme for the dinner. Beds are comfortable. Good location too, walking distance to some local markets. If you are looking for a quiet , boutique resort this is it!

Great place and very reasonably priced compared to next door luxe hotels. Breakfast is amazing and staff are very friendly. The furniture in the room is a bit outdated but the room is large, clean and very spacious. Pool and hot tub are fun and you can’t beat the view of the beach. Overall great experience 👍

Stayed 5 days over Valentines day. Food was always good. Our only complaint was that there was no decaffeinated coffee. I would definitely recommend this resort to friend's and family.

It was small. There seemed to be a lot of repeat customers. But it was mostly old retired people. The good was not good.

Very good customer service! Enjoyed the pool amd hot tub. Awesome location. You will not be disappointed. Great for the price!

Posada real is a great place if you’re looking for the basics. There is only one restaurant which is a full buffet and the pool has a snack bar. You are not able to bring food out of the dining areas. Beds are hard as a rock, electrical outlets were old and it was hard to plug into the wall. Wifi isn’t great in your room but common areas it’s stronger. Staff was very friendly and accommodating when making reservations. Service staff was very friendly and hard working. It was a quieter atmosphere and I liked that I could find a lounger by the pool at any time of day.

Entertainment was a loud for the area, except for Mexican Friday.

The hotel was pretty nice, the employees were awesome! However the restaurant was all buffet. Breakfast was great but the dinners were horrible.

Nice, clean, good vuffet breakfast. Only thing is the fridge dis not work and was very old and beat up.
