Whole building smelled of marijuana and cigarettes when it is a no smoking facility. I have asthma and two kids so this was not ideal and was a terrible place to stay. Rooms were dirty and manager on duty denied that it smelled like marijuana and cigarette smoke.

The room itself looked nice, only it had bedbugs a lot of them. Manager was super apologetic when we informed her. Offered us a different room, and we said we just wanted a refund she did so right away while apologizing and telling us the problem would be solved.

I like the lack of carpeting (much cleaner). Nice breakfast with hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc.

Accompdqtions were what i expected for an economical price.

It wasnt bad as far as room. They are doing updates but while staying we did find a few roaches in the room so beware when staying. We didnt want to stay our 2nd night due to this.

Good, affordable, comfortable place to stay while I was passing through town.

Good location and facility for myself. Wouldn't take family here. Dated room, but good for my single night stay. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Fair motel. Bed was much smaller than expected. Breakfast was OK but only one hot choice - waffles. Overnight staff played a lot of video games while working.

Place was ok but management doesn’t care for guest’s safely, rear entrance was locked open all night anyone guest or not could just walk in I reported this to management and they were to lazy to lock the door Stay somewhere else until management changes

Smells bad. Check-in employee was hard to understand. Air-conditioner was loud, dirty, and spewed "black particles" around the room. Don't touch the television remote! If there had been another hotel open within 20 miles, we would have checked out.

Maintenance and cleanliness were lacking

The toilet flooded the first hour we were there. We were able to shut the water off before it got too deep on the floor. The plunger the employee gave us to use had seen better days -- it was flat and didn't seal well. The rain storm caused a leak in the ceiling at 1:00 a.m.; there was a wastebasket to catch the water dripping in. Loud people in room two doors away from us -- desk person handled it quickly.

The couple who checked me in was very freindly and helpful. The whole hotel and my room seemed to have an odd smell. The room was large and looked Clean, but pretty run down. There was a leather chair that had was worn through in spots, and you could feel the bed springs.

I always love staying here. The staff are helpful and accommodating. A nice and friendly environment. I also love the location of the hotel which is close to fast food, coffee shops and shopping.

It was the cheapest hotel in the area for a long stay $40, the room was extremely small, but I dont care I wanted cheap, unlike the big expensive hotels they cleaned my room every day and had a better breakfast then others

Easy & fast check in….clean room & friendly staff.

Overall the property was good. My complaint was that the room was cold when we walked in. It would have been nice if someone would have turned the heat on prior to our arrival. It took about 5 hours for the room to warm up.

Mold on walls. Short staffed. Filthy rooms. Broken chairs. Stains on towels. Gross.

Our room has writing on the wall, the paint has been scuffed off by the chair. When I shared this with the staff person, she said "Oh yea they were supposed to come and fix that!" WHAT? Our bathroom had what looked like black mold on the ceiling above the shower! The overall smell of the place was disgusting.

The room had a distinct odor of cigarettes and cat urine. The toilet had mold in it. The air conditioner’s temperature control knob was missing. The room felt like it was about 65 degrees. We carry febreeze with us and used almost a can of it to get rid of the odor.

Women whom checked me in was so very friendly as well as everyone I dealt with staff wise. The carpets could be cleaned better but otherwise great for cost.

My room was clean, the front desk clerck was friendly and helpful

The receptionist was professional and friendly. The shower was good, but the bathroom was very small. The carpet in our room was dirty, and the fan/a.c. was incredibly loud, no matter the setting. We would have turned it off, but it was too warm in the room without it. We hardly slept a wink.

I stayed here for the weekend while I was in town for a wedding. My room had a disgusting old smell, dirty baseboards and gross carpet. The blow dryer in the bathroom was mounted above the toilet and didn't reach the plug in. The tub had parts that were coming undone from it. Overall a horrible experience

Our usual spot was booked, so we tried Days Inn Mason City, and likely would not stay again. Staff was pleasant enough and the room was clean but .... Room was clean but ceiling and carpet had stains and one ceiling spot needs a repair. It really helps if we both had a night stand and aren’t reaching over each other. Having a luggae stand instead of three chairs would help. Curtains didn’t close all of the way. While we're aware of staffing shortage, we did want our room made up after the first night and that didn't happen. We were ready to leave at a moment's notice, took the do not disturb sign down, etc. Yet we were missed. Then we were told cleaning staff had gone home. We did get our own towels but should have asked for a second pack of coffee. Don't advertise computer availability if that is not the case. What really put us off is that this seems to be a party spot, and we had noisy people next door.

It was a great place to stay. Clean and the beds were comfy.
