Buffalo Mountain Lodge

Such a beautiful setting and the room are gorg-E-ous. Love this place stayed several times for romantic get away and fun girls weekend.

Lovely room with a nice balcony to sit and enjoy the Mountain View. Bed was comfy and there was a good shower. There wasn’t air conditioning but a fan was provided which helped to keep the room comfortable in the hot weather as we couldn’t get the window to open. Glass door on bathroom should be replaced with a proper door to give a bit more privacy - although it’s not see through. Fireplace is a nice touch, albeit we didn’t use it as the weather was so warm. Location is great. Less than 30 minute downhill walk to middle of town, or you can use the local bus from across the road - the hotel gave us free bus passes which we made use of to get back at night. We had breakfast a couple of times - the restaurant and lobby area is beautiful and the staff were friendly and efficient.

The place was beautiful. It was in a great location. The staff was super friendly and helpful! However, our bathroom shower had some mold, and our tv was not working great! But who watches much tv on vacation! We ate several different meals at the restaurant, and we were not impressed. Our breakfast eggs were done over hard and they were supposed to be medium. The toast was hard and could be used as croutons! The sliders were way over cooked. Drinks were good! If I came back to Banff, I would possibly try it again!

The room was super clean and well stocked! Loved the fireplace!
