We were told after check in no cooking in parking lot and no drinking in parking lot. We told them we have our after work meeting at truck with a few beers and they said ok. Next shift comes on and he, Larry, was very rude etc telling us about having beer in parking lot and we said we got the ok but even after he checked with higher ups, he was very rude and threatened to kick us out etc. we were not partying and were very quiet but the additive of the staff about it, even though we were approved to do so was terrible and our company will never stay again because of that and only that. The rooms were great and very clean. Also, our trucks were gone thru and luckily things were locked down

Have stayed here before on my way up to San Francisco. In fact, had the same room again. Can be rather noisy due to the freeway, nice and comfortable.

Very clean hotel with great front desk customer service. The only downfall is staying on the first floor is super noisy. Was unable to sleep in to get rest. Other than that, it was good!

Room was very clean as were the common grounds. Clerk on duty 24 hours is nice too.

Nice hotel to stay in Salinas

The man that checked us in was very thorough and professional and did a great job explaining everything.

Receptionist was great , rooms was clean, bed was so uncomfortable could not sleep.

Terrible stay. I meant to book the Best Western just down the street from this one where our family had a wonderful stay several years ago. This is an old run down hotel that needs work. Staff was friendly but not very helpful. Our room didn't get cleaned the entire 3 day stay (i.e. fresh towels, more TP,...we grabbed some off the housekeeping cart in the hall for ourselves). No handsoap in the room when we arrived. The room and hotel had a slight cigarette smoke smell to it. They must have a problem with it because they had a lot of non smoking signage. The elevator was super sketchy and the inspection paper showed that it expired two years ago. The elevator was bumpy at best and tried to start moving while the door was still open on one ride. The beds are terrible and need replacement. The mini fridge had some mold growing in the back of it. The microwave didn't work. Didn't try out the small TV. The pool was locked and we had to get someone to open it. I'll add some pictures later if I can. The add photos feature isn't working on the hotels.com app right now.
