Absolutely love this hotel in Cherokee. I did not want to stay at the Casino. This hotel is just 2 miles away. VERY clean. Front desk was very helpful. Beds were comfortable. I would stay here again. Great value and very comfortable

Perfect for the money by far. Quiet, simple and 10 minutes from the casino for 1/3 the price. Breakfast is not a priority for them.

This property is definitely one of my first choices when coming to stay in town the property is clean and the area is nice but the front desk staff can be off putting at times depending on who is at the front desk they really put emphasis on not smoking on their property and will let you know that if they get an idea that it may be you they will call the cops on you and have them deal with it which isn't very welcoming but I understand and also a couple times that I stayed there they came into my room 5 to 10 minutes before check out but again it is one of the nicer places to stay in this town

A little off the beaten path in proximity to central Cherokee. Breakfast was sparse with watered down juices. Overall not a bad stay.

The hotel was overall suitable at very reasonable price, there was nothing that would cause me to avoid this hotel if I am in the area again. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, which are the two most important factors for me. The staff was also pleasant and helpful, which was nice. There are a few of areas I see room for minor but meaningful improvements, however. There was an odd, overpowering smell of curry in the hallways, but it wasn't noticable in the room, thankfully. Also, while I didn't expect a free gormet breakfast, a few protein options would be nice (hard boiled eggs, yogurt, ect.) instead of simply offering carbs and fruit. It would also be nice if the TV's supported streaming services like Netflix, Disney, Hulu, Fubo, ect.

The hotel is in a great shape and close to everything in town.

Very clean & bed/mattress slept really well. Staff very friendly & professional. Breakfast was lacking, coffee not good & juice taste bad. Hear/air unit in our room was very noisy. Everything else was excellent!

The room was clean enough. The bed was comfortable. Don't like the small pillows. Didn't appreciate the room right next to side door.

Breakfast was too limited and too late in the morning. Breakfast should be open from 6 to 9.

No quality breakfast. Room was not large but clean and floor was free from stains.

The hotel was very clean. Had trouble with one of the lamps but staff responded fast to fix it. The heater went out on the last night but staff responded fast but could not get it fixed. No phone service while we were at the hotel. Overall it was a very convenient stay for the kind of trip we were on. If you stay near the Casino the phone service was better.

The front desk receptionist was great, the room was very neat and clean, but we stay 3 nights, no one offered any extra towels, and the garbage was were never emptied. Breakfast area for a hotel that size was to small

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was friendly. The only thing I would wish better was the breakfast. Only waffles and various other carbs like muffins, etc. Wished there had been some protein, even if a boiled egg.

It was obvious that this was a former Baymont Inn, the first room the door would not lock, given another and it was fine. Generally a Hampton Inn user but non near by so having stayed at the Baymont in Ft Myers, Fl which impressed us so we tried this Bay Mnt hotel. It was actually not bad, but it is starting to show it's age in furniture wear and poor quality tv reception. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the room was quite with good air conditioning. The breakfast was minimal, muffins and waffles, not the best but for the price, acceptable. We stayed three nights and would probably stay again if it was within a year but by then it will need a facelift.

The Bay Mountain Inn in Cherokee is reasonably priced, and located not far from the main streets. But the breakfast is bare minimum, the worst in my hotel-staying experiences.
