We’ve stayed at Beaver Run before and we appreciate the renovations they’ve made since, it’s a great option for ski-in ski-out to the easier slopes on Peak 9. Only issue we had was the cleanliness of the room but otherwise a fantastic option!
3.0
Great stay, main areas are great. Rooms are clean but older, need updated. Service was excellent.

The resort was very conveniently located adjacent to the slopes and town. Everything was very good however the bed was a bit tired and needs to be replaced. Other than that everything was excelent
6.0
Convenience is the only perk…
Rooms are dated, hot tubs are small but pleasant, shuttle is extremely unreliable, food onsite is below average (do not waste your money on breakfast at Spencer’s - might be the worst buffet with 3 hour old food Ive ever eaten at), arcade needs a serious update and is quite disappointing.
I don’t think we’d stay here again even with the convenience to ski school/lifts.

Just fine, not great

We had an awesome stay here! We were surprised how spacious the suite it is, and how family friendly it is. Ski in and out directly from the hotel, and tons of stuff to enjoy outside of ski. They had tons of hot tubs and a couple heated pools, an arcade room with free mini-golf, and many more! The price is very reasonable consider how expensive it is to stay in ski resort in Colorado today. We will definitely return.

Beautiful queen studio room with great view of the slopes! Lovely sitting area and kitchen stocked with all the essentials!

Great hotel, very convenient that it is right on the lifts and ski school. Transportation to and from main street only a quick call to front desk.

Need to update the rooms the carpet is nasty.

The room is old, outdated and falling apart. Kitchen sync leaks, shower drain floods, no room/cleaning service unless staying over 7 days (once per week), humidifiers do not work… Resort pricing, but DIY service. Oh, and don’t forget to bring your own dishwasher machine soap “you are supposed to bring it”. Been coming to BR for over 20 years, but unfortunately this management is making us find an alternative.

Outlets pullout couch and cable were terrible

The staff was friendly and attentive. We arrived late our first night and couldn't use their shuttle, but we were able to walk to a restaurant. We will definitely be returning to Beaver run soon!

Only giving it a 4 because the bed was not great and every single night there was a few loud noises that just kept on in multiple locations which made it difficult to sleep. Couldn’t find the source but that noise was annoying.

Property needs updating. It has seen better days. It is very well located. Staff is very nice and having the ski lift just feet away is a plus. But the rooms, hallways and property in general needs updating.

This property does not have a professional chemical cleaning program for their rooms. I observed the housekeepers using unlabeled cleaning bottles and old rags to clean the room. The property is tired and maintenance is lazy. Bathroom faucet leaked, toilet ran all night, shower head was dirty. What a shame that Colorado has gone down the path of disgusting.

We had an amazing stay overall. Our 2 bedroom was nice and cozy, beds were very comfortable, our room was fully stocked and firewood delivered to us promptly with each call. Ammenities were spot on for our family offering a little of everything for downtime from the snow. The only draw back was our morning was abruptly started by a fire alarm this morning. We attempted to call the front desk to check on whether it was real or a false alarm and nobody would answer the phone. It wasnt until we grabbed the few things we hadnt already packed in the car and went out to the front desk that we were told (by phone) as there was noone actually at the front desk that it was a false alarm. A little concerning that no fire truck arrived on scene either. Other than that our stay was superb

In a six night stay, our room was never cleaned. Two of the day, we got no new towels or trash removed. House keeping would tell us they would do something then never show up or do it. Front desk and house keeping might as well be two different companies- they cannot communicate. The hot tubs are gross and were over run with kids running from tub to tub. All the staff were foreign and were the kindest, hard working people. They seemed way over worked but were eager to please. They need about 3X the staff to run the place.

Great location to Peak 9! Our studio was perfect for the 3 of us. However, the heat would not turn down and got to 74 degrees, too hot to sleep! We finally turned it off and slept with no heat.

Started off with a broken thermostat hanging from the wall with the room incredibly hot. Went down to the front desk to tell the lady at the front and she didn’t say anything until we showed her pictures, then got moved to another room. Then we found cheap parking about 5-6 minutes from the hotel so we didn’t have to pay $40/night just to find out the shuttle doesn’t go that far apparently. Found out that night after trying to use the shuttle to go down to the town that the shuttle was further from where they said they couldn’t pick us up at. Last day the housekeepers carded into our room with us in it, even though they say the housekeepers only come when your stay is finished. Overall I don’t think I will go to this place again. The only good thing about the trip was the proximity to the mountain. I even asked if I could bring up concerns to management and didn’t hear a single thing back

Staff is phenomenal.Always pleasant and prompt. Great suite and very nice towels in perfect abundance. About time to replace that sleeper sofa - not very comfortable to sit on for tv watching. We found the perfect balance of activity and rest and thoroughly enjoyed the simplest things like watching the skiers from the CopperTop patio. Will definitely go again but longer next time. Check out Frisco. We did the sleigh ride, skiing and tubing there. Perfect speed for a couple baby boomers!

To find your way around is a nightmare, extremely outdated, dirty- nothing like it was 25 yrs ago.

We absolutely loved Beaver Run! If your looking for a great Breckenridge vacation, this place has it all! Very clean updated rooms, ski in ski out literally just outside the condo, equipment rental on property. Everything you need right there. We will definitely be going back!

The location was overall good. The check-in/out process was easy and convenient until being required to visit the front desk for parking. They will charge you for any day/time you are at the resort which isn't right as check in is 3pm or later and check out is 11am so that is not 2 full days worth but they got their $38 fee for both days. On top of that they triple their parking rates during peak winter days for absolutely no reason other than to price gouge customers.
I will say the town shuttle drivers were all great and knowledgeable.

I’ve been coming here for 20 years and this was the worst. Housekeeping didn’t exist although they said they would help. Dogs on the property (barking in one of the rooms in the middle of the night. Spencer’s was the only restaurant on property open after 6:00pm but due to staffing shortage only a couple of tables were available. Really pitiful situation.

The resort was quiet and didn’t feel busy. Some of the construction going on throughout the resort was annoying to have to go through or around sometimes. Due to construction there wasn’t as many options for food/shopping as usual which made some of the open spots extra busy at lunch time. The ski locker was great and provided easy access to snow. Staff was great!

Great ski in/sky out hotel

Most excellent location, but staff and service leaves alot to be desired. I booked (and paid for) a 2BR, but was actually given a 1BR. Apparently, they 'forgot' to open the lockoff to give me access to the other BR & bath. According to 3 front desk staff, it's my fault because I didn't complain. Utterly unrepentant, no consideration at all offered because of THEIR error. Also, there weremaintenance problems in the unit.

Suites were fantastic in space, cost, cleanliness, and staff support. The dining at Spencers was great, but costly for portions received.
Front staff was responsive and easy to communucate with!

It’s hard to get the shuttle service, you’re better off to take the city bus.

The property was undergoing renovation soo many of the dining options were not available.
Parking was a mess, very inconvenient especially if you travel with little ones.

Be forewarned about this place. First, we didn’t realize until we arrived that each unit is individually owned. So the photos of the beautiful luxurious suite we THOUGHT we were getting ( and paid for) was not what we got at all. Instead we were in a cheap, run down , uncomfortable and unattractive little place. Secondly, there was NO HEAT! When we complained, they sent up a little space heater that did very little good and was barely able to get the heat up into the 60s. The maintenance folks told us they had been trying to fix the heat for over a month! So they could have mentioned this when we booked, but no, they did not. And since we booked through hotels.com, they refused to give us any kind of refund. So we escalated this through hotels.com and they still refused, basically saying that because they didn’t have to issue a refund, they weren’t going to. So, needless to say, we will not be staying here again and would never recommend this place to anyone else

The windows were old single pane, so the condensation left the windowsill very wet.

Our stay was nothing like expected! The property was under construction and it was like a maze going from one point of the resort to the other. None of the signs made sense. Staff was friendly but did not explain anything about the stay at the hotel. And whenever asked they don’t know anything.
