Nestled far enough back that it’s quite but close enough to dinning and bars for a good night out.

Stayed at this location many times and up to date still a good option on the area.

It was quiet, close to the edge of town and didn't break the bank with lots of places to eat out at while I was there for work.

Quiet, clean rooms would stay here again.

Hotel is comfortable and clean. I did not eat breakfast, so can’t comment on that. A little bit outside of DM, but area is safe and well lit.

Beds were clean, bathroom had some stains on the walls. Hallway smelled as if someone was smoking pot.

I have stayed at this location in the past and recognized the updates. However, there is a shortage of staff (understandable!) and we were not informed of this. Getting our own towels each day was not a big deal. My frustration is the higher charge from what I booked on Hotels.com. The difference was about 40% higher! I intend to contact the motel....

Nothing standout. It was just a place to stay at a low rate.

The room had an oder in it. No extras like tissues or drinking glasses.

The staff must live next to our room as we could smell food cooking. Just kind of strange. NO ELEVATOR had elderly sister with me and it was hard to get up and down with luggage.

When I stayed, it was on a Friday evening. Unfortunately I couldn't sleep due to constant doors opening and shutting with talking in hallways after 11pm all the way into 4am. For the price I paid I should have just went to a hotel 6 saved myself $100, atleast then I would of known what I was getting into. Too bad because I've staid at some really nice wyndhams in the past!

Paid for a suite, it wasn't available at check in due to a broken door. Had to take a regular room for same price because i booked thru expedia

For the price, the property was ok. It looked like the flooring and carpet was recently replaced and was relatively clean. Our AC unit leaked on the last night and there was water all over the floor but nothing of ours got ruined. The breakfast was fairly decent with options for all. Overall, not too bad considering every other hotel around was charging max rates due to Iowa State's graduation.

it was absolutely disgusting and dirty , it was my first time at super 8 I was very excited considering I got a suite with a tub and there was dust in the tub dead tiny ants the floor was also dirty and so was the bathroom the only good thing was the bed nothing else

Very nice Indian lady who was at the front desk when we checked in. Unfortunately, we did not is over (nor were we told when checking in) that the cable television was not working. We discovered this upon returning for the evening. The lady said the cable was out over most of the motel but offered to find us a room - and move us - that had the one news channel we could watch. Instead of the queen bed we had reserved and paid for in the first room(111) the bed in the newer new room (207) was a full sized bed. Neither my husband or I slept well and left early. Before moving rooms, we had reserved rooms for three nights for the state high school track meet in May. However, we will check before keeping them to confirm the cable tv is working as if it is still broken, we will be canceling. Overall, a very disappointing stay.

My dog didn't stay every day or night. I got threatened to get kicked out because I was upset they charged me for him the days he wasn't there. Staff was very very rude and never gave us clean towels.

There were roaches in our room. Management was informed and our concerns were not really taken seriously.

i thought the persons running it was very friendly and was very helpful.

I slept well and so did my dog.

Stayed here while my child was in a sports tournament. Simple, clean rooms with a pretty good complimentary breakfast. It was a bonus that we could have our dog along for an extra $20 a day. Friendly staff - a few guests that were constantly smoking at the entrances was kind of gross, but overall perfect place for the money.

Worst hotel experience I've ever had. Access to my room was apparently given to another guest by programming their key card to my room. Thankfully I had locked the bolt lock inside the room because another guest opened my door at midnight. I called the front desk to ask what was going on, the man said he would check the cameras and let me know. I never heard back from him until I went downstairs the next morning. I asked for a refund for the next night's reservation to which he responded absolutely not. There was never a single apology, but continued to suggest that I was lying because the "other guest said the door never opened," despite the lock being moved and being able to see the hall light enter my room. He continued to fight tooth and nail then finally said he would refund me one night if I got out right that instant. I have yet to see a return from this hotel on the card that was used. In addition- this facility charges an extra $50 just to check in that they claim will be returned at checkout. I was assigned a non-smoking room that smelled of smoke and mildew so bad the clean clothes that were not even taken out of my bag had to be washed entirely. They also apparently host a second-rate meat market in their parking lot, as they had massive food trucks selling steak packages in their parking lot with roaring generators running the entire night. AWFUL facility, terrible experience.

This is a nice safe clean "Super 8 in Ankeny Iowa. Very nice staff and very comfortable.I would recommend this to a single traveler or a family. Nice location.

After a long day of softball the Beds were hard. The air/heat unit was so loud. No counters in our room, not sure if all rooms are like that. The microwave and fridge were stacked oddly so we didn’t trust to use either. The toilet wouldn’t flush. Overall the room was old and gross. We Will never stay at an Super 8 again.
