The rooms had fans for heat. The room was dingy. I felt unsafe people live there. I did not stay at this hotel I just took my things and left! Horrible

This has to be the worst overnight I have ever stayed at. Unwelcoming employees, filthy, no heat, ripped carpet, dirty bedding (BLOOD STAINS!), light fixtures didn’t work, the bed was a box spring!!! I could continue but you get the idea. Talked to the manager on duty and he said sorry, the employees don’t care and he couldn’t do anything about it.

Property is old and our room was not very clean.

The management needs to maintain their rooms and replace the broken and worn out furniture

People screaming down the hallway until 3-4 am every night.

First arrived and picture on wall fell upon entering. Bathroom door would not shut. Shower handle fell off when I went to turn it for warm water. While trying to sleep I heard everyone entering and exiting. Could hear whispers and people talking while our doors were shut. Staff was rude. Would not stay here if it was not for the good location.

Carpets unclean, Bathtub very Slippery and Dangerous, hallways smell of Chemicals, Ownership not Friendly. Heating not Working. Breakfast Basically non-existent. Some scary People Hanging Around.

There was noting we like about the place and we would never stay there again

Zero stars. This hotel was the worst place I have stayed. Upon arrival and checking the room, we found it dirty. I had to have them change the bedding as it appeared used. We then had to go get disinfecting wipes to be able to stay in the room. The microwave has food splattered all over the inside. The fridge had pubic hair and some unidentified liquid in it. There are exposed wires, missing faceplates, no screen or filter in the a/c or windows. Though listed as completely non-smoking, the hallways were clouded with smoke. The door doesn’t even slightly muffle any sounds. The best part of the stay was the view, which was a vacant lot and the back side of a trailer park. The room I reserved was supposed to have 2 beds and a couch for 3 adults. It did not.

The hotel reeked of cigarettes, everything in our room was grubby, run down, and slightly broken. The bathroom was tiny, you could barely open the door without hitting the toilet, and the shower water temperature came out the opposite way it was supposed to: set at "hot" the water comes out cold & vice-versa (weird thing to complain about, I know). The continental breakfast was extremely limited and cramped, and they ran out of stuff frequently. Overall it felt like the property was just falling into disrepair. I know you get what you pay for, but this still felt overpriced. One positive we noted was that the bathroom towels were large and soft.

The place was dirty, musky smelling and so outdated. Dust all over. Not sure when the room was last vacuumed. The beds were springing, outdated and tilted. I went and bought new sheets to put on bed. We couldn't even let ourselves in on the side exterior door due to no exterior entrance handle. If I could have found a different place I would have. Very disappointed. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel is horrible. We had bugs in our rooms. People slamming doors all night long and little care from those who work there!!

From the moment we walked in, we were hit with a wall of cigarette smoke. The entire lobby was thick with cigarette smell. It took 20 minutes to check in, the front desk gal asked if she could take a picture of my license with her phone. I was not ok with this. Once in our room I used the bathroom and it was disgusting! There was either dried blood or stool on the bottom of the shower curtain. The non smoking room was full of cigarette burns in the carpet, comforter and sheets. The sheets were full of stains so we pulled them off to sleep in our own blankets and discovered a huge black stain on the mattress! It was so gross! It was rubbing on the sheets and turning them black as well. I went down after the 30 minutes we were there and demanded my money back. I was told I had been in the room for several hours so I was denied. I asked to see the check in receipt and she claimed to not be able to find it. I asked for a manager and was denied. The gal argued with me for over 2 hours with no resolution. Absolutely terrible.

The room was very outdated, we found hair that wasnt ours and The floor was also sticky amd seemed to be uncleaned. Beds could stand to be replaced

It was fine. . The only thing I didn't care for is the breakfast really nothing to choose from

Bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have slept on. The breakfast was in a closet sized room with one waffle maker, toaster, and an orange juice dispenser. I went to the restaurant across the street for an adequate breakfast.

So first room I was given the door locks battery was dead so couldn't enter. When I went to get it fixed they gave me a room with a TV that didn't work. Staff was friendly tho

This property is very dated. I can't speak for all the rooms, but ours had old stained sheets and the curtains had holes in them. The air conditioners barely worked and it was a really hot day, so that made it hard to sleep until things cooled off after midnight. And there was a terrible smell throughout the place... like curry and incense and marijuana all rolled together. It was a little cheaper to stay there but it really wasn't worth it.

Comfortable bed

Nice, quiet hotel. It was clean and neat and the staff was friendly.

Checked in later at night and was given a room that was already occupied. Got a new room. Pillows were extremely flat. Towels were stained. No cups in rooms. Only Breakfast items available at 7:30 AM were: waffle dispenser was blocked so wouldn't pour out batter, oatmeal and 2 pieces of bread. Nothing else to chose from and no napkins available, only a box of tissue to use. 1 of the outside doors was missing the door handle so had to pull from the top or bottom of the door to get it to open.

The room was in general disrepair. The carpet was fraying and in need of a cleaning as it felt greasy underfoot. The bed was made, but I found pebbles and dirt under the flat sheet.

Desk clerk gave me a room that was under construction, packed with furniture, plumbing fixtures etc. strewn around the room. A complete disaster. The room was almost all the way at the end of the hall, and the floor coverings are a mess. This hotel is not well maintained at all. I will never stay here again.

The lobby and rooms look new and updated. It is very clean and the cleaners are thorough. The rooms are nice, comfortable bed, openable windows and was spacious in my king room. The shower didn’t work in my bathroom though. There’s always people wandering outside or sitting in the back lounge area. Nice location. The staff is super wonderful and professional.

This dump deserves ZERO STARS!!!! TURN BACK NOW!!! RUN FAR FROM THIS PLACE!!! SERIOUSLY TRUST YOUR GUT INSTINCT!!! YOUR FAMILY DESERVES BETTER TREATMENT THAN WHAT THIS DUMP HAS TO OFFER. Do not book this hotel on Expedia, Hotels.com, etc. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL AT ALL!!!! So let me tell you about my experience. First night at hotel, I booked this through Expedia because I'm here for work, commuting from Wisconsin. So I check in at front desk which I had booked from Tuesday with checkout Thursday morning, got the keys and off to room 138. Well as I open the door, there is an overwhelming smell of urine that engulfed my nose. The entire room smelled as if it was used as a toilet and cleaned with urine. I was afraid to even sit on the bed. The queen bed frame was all rusty. The base boards was coming apart. I was so grossed out I forgot to take pictures. I just had to get out of that room. So off to the front desk I went. So, I spoke to the person at the front desk and told him about the room and how it smelled like someone used it as a toilet, and that I couldn't stay there. I guess he didn't believe me so off to the room we went. Yeah, 2nd time of having the smell of urine shoved in my face. So he offered me room 222 on the second floor. So I accepted, going against my better judgement, I should've just gotten the hell out of there!!! It was a nightmarish experience!!!

Room was clean and smelled very fresh. For being so close to Valleyfair it was fairly quiet and reasonably priced!

Booked a king bed at expedia. It says that there were 5 available. I drove to travelodge for 10 minutes. The front desk told me that their were no more king bed and that i have yo add 20 dollars for 2 queen bed. Its not a lot of money but i felt cheated 😬.
