Holiday Inn Express Oxford-Kassam Stadium by IHG

Just absolutely wonderful hotel The staff, the rooms just so very clean and ease of everything from parking to reception

Holiday Inn Express: we travel frequently through Europe and the US and we’re always glad to see a Holiday Inn Express because we appreciate having parking, an elevator and breakfast - which are not always available at more picturesque hotels. The HI Express at Oxford Kassam is a very good example of the chain - great staff (shout out to Aiya), clean and modern rooms, very good breakfast included, elevators and plentiful onsite parking. Only quibbles are that the bathroom sink drained slowly, the hand sanitizer bottles need refilling and most important of all, there’s no laundry although the hotel’s site claims there is. But these are minor, the hotel is a gem and close to downtown Oxford (20 minutes drive to Balliol College). Highly recommended.

Very fast check-in. Rooms great for families traveling. Good breakfast

Very clean, lovely breakfast
