Security door lock was broken off the wall. The lamp shade was broken. Kids were running around without parental supervision, both days. Friday they trailed water down the hall from the pool and up through the elevator. Saturday morning they were heard running all over the third floor, waking us up. Why the heck the staff puts people right on top of each other is beyond me!

They did not inform you that the indoor pool and spa was not working properly

My room smelled like dry cleaning fluid, so much so it gave me a headache. The bathroom was clean but well worn. Probably would not stay here again.

Room was very clean. Smells clean as soon as you walk into hotel. No mold around tub like you see in other hotels. Door hinges were rusty in bathroom but think from condensation. Indoor pool was freezing. Too cold for adults or kids go swim in. Hot tub not working. Huge bummer as we picked this hotel to allow kids to swim.

The hotel could use some updating but the beds and accommodations were comfortable.

This is an oil field type of motel not a hotel. Smells and is dirty from the moment you walk in. Needs major cleaning- no pictures because it was not worth it. Again, this is more of a MOTEL and dirty!

Clearly not being maintained by the ownership. Elevator sounded like it was going to crash down, room smelled old and musty, shower showed mold around the tub

In need of many repairs & updates. Furniture was old & torn up. Elevator sounds terrible. Carpet old.

The lady at the front desk was very pleasant considering I checked in late in the evening. Nice hotel and I will stay there again.

The staff was absolutely wonderful, my only complaint was beds were firmer than i like and there’s mold in the shower corners. We’d stay here again if we come back through town

The bed was very comfortable, but the hotel is clearly run down. The carpet in our room was separated from the tack strip and pretty gross. Towels were stained. Considering the price of hotels these days, this was doable only.

Staffs are friendly specially Mrs Penny. In general, the hotel is dated but it's still nice.

I called Expedia to reschedule my booking for the following week. The Expedia rep said that to change the booking with out charges the manager at the hotel had to decide to waive the fees. She call the hotel and said the manager denied to waive the fees and that I would be responsible for up to the entire balance. I declined to change the booking and decided to keep It. when I got to the hotel the girl at the front seat told me that my booking was canceled and the $115.48 was refunded ( the booking was for $142. ) I called Expedia and they still have my booking active. I let them know that the hotel has my booking as canceled and I now have no room.

It was affordable, quite and convenient to our route.

The rooms need to be aired out. All the rooms smell like smoke. The carpet and couches need to be cleaned. We had pet hair all over the couch and beds. I will not stay there again.

Reserved and confirmed for king bed, was told by hotel Expedia sent the hotel a reservation for 2 double bed room. Room, especially the bathroom needs to be remodeled

There was a dead cockroach in the bathroom along with a fruit loop. It had a musty smell, there were stains on the white comforter, and the elevator makes a horrible sound.

Room was dirty and water pressure never got better. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again…

It was OK, but the humidity was high and the room was warm when we checked in. The AC worked well enough to make it comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff were great.

The staff we encountered were wonderful. They were friendly and efficient. Upon entering the parking lot, you can see that the building is in need of some repair - looks like maybe they are patching some of the exterior walls. Inside the lobby looks nice, well kept. Our only issue was the hallway. We were on the 3rd floor and immediately upon stepping out of the elevator, we were hit with a really strong gross smell - kind of sewer smelling, sulpher'ish, stinky for sure! Once inside our room, it was fine. There was some kind of smell in there, but not terrible and after 5 minutes you didn't even notice. The room was clean and fine for our needs. But every time we had to leave and walk down the hall, we did so very quickly so we could get past the smell. No idea what it was, but definitely unpleasant. Overall, aside from the hallway odor, it was fine and relatively inexpensive, suited our needs for 1 night.

It was ok. Expected more from a Comfort Suites. Staff was the best. Very clean. Shower head was terrible. AC system was dated.

All was good except the TV package, it seems most of the channels were info commercials and local channels. No A&E, History, Discovery, Food Network ... so it was a bit disappointing after a hard days work not to have anything to watch.

This is a nice clean hotel centrally located in Brenham. There is a Sonic right next door which is convenient. The beds were soft and comfortable. The breakfast was OK, nothing to get excited about but good enough to keep you from being hungry before you take off for the day.
