Travelodge Glasgow Airport

Travelodges tend to be so-so, but this one was clean, neat, and spacious. Staff was extremely helpful as well. The hotel is walking distance from the Glasgow airport; it’s probably the furthest of the hotels near the airport, but the value is good and if you’re able-bodied or have a car, it’s a decent option. The biggest downside we encountered was that our room did not have a hair dryer. We did not try the food, having opted to use the airport shuttle into the city centre to explore the abundant food scene there.

We picked this hotel to simply be close to the airport for an early flight. I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort of the room and bed. The thing that really sticks out from our visit was the staff. They were amazing. So helpful and went out of their way to make us truly feel welcome.

Very convenient for the ap: When you leave the ap, go left & follow the signs “pedestrians to courtyard”(by Marriott)..the TL is right behind it. Going TO the ap, it is WELL signed. ~5 min walk. Great HOT breakfast buffet included! The windows open a little & there is a fan supplied in the cabinet. Kept us cool to sleep end of July! The lobby has a bar that is lively& they serve pizzas etc in the eve. Plus a vending machine.

Five minute walk to airport is good if you don’t have to go in the dark and difficult if you have a large suitcase. There is a taxi for a fee10 pounds The room was very basic no clock Kleenex container was empty and dirty above the toilet where the box would be Soap dispenser in shower came apart and I had to put it back together the one at the sink squirted quickly No breakfast or snacks if you leave before their start time like I did at 5 AM
