What an enjoyable stay! Oceanfront room with balcony for a great price. Parking included can be hard to find too. Staff was very kind and helpful. Will definitely be coming back!

Would have liked a bigger room. I don’t remember the rooms being so small.

The room was clean but the bathroom felt like an old motel. The bathroom needs renovation, as do the hallways. The only elevator was tiny and not located near the lobby.

Been staying here for years, best place to stay beachfront to see the sunrise from your balcony! Or just jump right on to it and start exercising and you can go right to the beach and enjoy your day!

The only thing I wasn’t happy about was the ice machine not working on my floor. Second floor.

The only thing we didn’t like was the beds were not comfortable to us ? There’s no box spring or movement to under the beds (I have a bad back) but my wife does not.

a suggestion for the shower is too put up a hand rail for people to get in and out of the shower for safety reasons. Everything else was perfect for our get away for few days... we will be returning either in Nov or again in Jan...

I like the location of this property. However, I used my points to get the room and I feel that because I didn’t pay directly they gave me the worst room. The bathroom sink is clogged and I mean disgusting. It was something growing on the wall by the toilet tank again disgusting. The room was just very old and had not been updated. My friend stayed in the same hotel on the fourth floor and the room was perfect. Just because I use my points does it mean that I should be given the worst room. I stayed in room 121 and had one hour to get in and get out to my event and by the time I got back the front desk staff was gone . I am grateful for the points that I’ve earned. I am glad I was able to use them but I don’t think I would stay here again and just because people use a third-party like EXPEDIA they should be given the same treatment.

The rooms were nice. The staff excellent. There was no operating restaurant or cafe in the hotel. Also, they’ve removed the gym.

We stayed last New Year's Eve and everything was great so we decided to go back again this year. It started off great. The check-in staff was very friendly. We couldn't get the tv to work. The guy that came up to help was very nice and got the tv to work. The next day the housekeeper knocked on our door to service the room. We told her we would be going out in 5 minutes if she would come back in a little bit. We saw her as we left and told her she can get into the room because we were going out for the day. We got back to the room later that evening and the room was not cleaned. We wanted to get ice for the room. The ice bucket had an empty bag of chips in it. We went down to the front desk to get a clean ice bucket and was told by security they didn't have any. The woman behind the desk went in the back and found one. We told them our room was not cleaned. They didn't seem to care, didn't offer clean towels or to empty trash. No apology from anyone for the gross ice bucket, no smiles. NOTHING, just felt like me were bothering them. It's a shame because we like the location right on the boardwalk with an oceanview but the hotel needs an update. Again, the check in staff was great but the other front desk staff during our stay needs some trainning in customer service.

We went to Rehoboth Beach for a weekend getaway to celebrate New Years and our Anniversary. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

The hotel location is nice but partial view means a view of the hotel across the street and a sliver of the ocean. Our room was ready early. It was clean for the most part but had nasty looking black shavings (looked like the insides of a cigar) in the sink. The size of the room was great. It could use some updating - bathroom is older looking, tvs are small and not hd. The restaurant is not open late and the vending machines on our floor didn’t work. We had Instacart bring snacks and drinks. You can hear hallway noise - we were woken up by people laughing loudly around 1:30am. It didn’t upset us but wanted to note for sensitive people. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient. We spent most of our time on Rehoboth ave which is a very short walk. All in all, I would stay again. The cons we experienced are minor to us.

We chose this hotel because we were able to get an oceanfront room which is the reason we went. No complaints about location. It's an older hotel which supposedly has been refurbished. Our coffee maker didn't work (we reported, supposedly switched out but still didn't work), our phone didn't work (reported but never worked). We understand it was offseason and our issues will not prevent us from staying there again. Location, location, location. I highly recommend for that reason alone.

a great bargain for a winter beach visit staff always nice

We booked this for a last minute overnighter during winter break. The view was nice, the area was walkable, and the hotel was quiet...at least during the off season. The room was clean enough, but definitely not above average. The rooms - at least in the section we were in - could use some updating. The parking was convenient and the staff were friendly. Overall, our stay was satisfactory.

I always come during the off-season and stay at Atlantic Sands. Check in is always smooth and easy, staff is friendly, and I love having a view of the ocean!

Loved that I could open a glass door in my partial view room to see and hear the ocean from a well located comfy lounge chair. Fantastic hotel location. Older hotel, but they have kept it up. And I could tell they just had the carpets cleaned. Great value during my holiday stay. Only issue was the doors between rooms could use an external lock. No door knob between the adjoining doors, so intellectually know that they can’t get in, but I would still feel better if I had the ability to lock the door from the inside the room. Overall a great and affordable experience for my too brief November stay!

Great location and wonderful staff. Flooring and common areas could use some updating. Bed linens were nice but beds were a 7/20. Loved waking up to the ocean. One of my favorite things in the world.

This is modest and beautiful clean hotel! The staff is friendly. I like to stay here during the off season as it’s quiet and relaxing with an amazing beach front balcony!

I chose it because it was right on the boardwalk. I chose the room with an ocean view and that made a lot of difference. It helped me overlook the fact that when I checked in, I had to call for service since the tv was unplugged and the phone did not have a dial tone. To me it meant that the room was not yet ready and I was told that it was. For what I paid, I expected a toilet that was not cracked. I did not get that. I paid less in other places where the fixtures were in good condition. The view was stunning. That made all the difference.

I was there for less than 12 hours, but this was my worst stay at a hotel. The shower had almost no water pressure, and the water was barely hot enough when turned up to the max. The shower curtain was too long, so I almost slipped on it several times. The toilet paper dispenser was broken, and a light in the bathroom was out. The heat didn't work, so I slept terribly since the room wouldn't get above 62°. The front desk also hounded me for me for my vehicle info even though I was in public parking rather than their lot. Would not stay again.

I did not like that I had to call the front desk twice to get the room cleaned and clean towels. I have stayed at the Atlantic Sands many times and never had to do that, I will be going back to Rehoboth for Easter week and I will be looking at other hotels to stay at.
