Everything was good but it said breakfast 7 to 10 I think. When I went down for my walk the sign was covered but was given a to go bag.

In general a good stay. But definitely the bed wasn’t comfortable,. As a travelers a good night sleep is a plus,that requires a good bed with a great mattress and good pillows.

GREAT FOR LATE CHECK IN AND LATE CHECK OUT..VERY SAFE AREA...

We stayed two nights. Very comfortable except for the barking dog in the next room. Also, you could use water at the breakfast area. Everything else was perfect.

A/C is to noisy.

The hotel was pretty disappointing. We stayed as a family for 1 night as a stop through location traveling from ME to VA. The lobby was small and very outdated. My son and husband used the lobby bathroom immediately before checking in, and when trying to open the door, my husband said the entire wall shifted. The front desk clerk was nice, but tried to charge us extra for an additional person in the room and for a roll away bed. I argued that I had booked for 5 people and had to show him my confirmation email as proof. They had also called 2 days prior to my stay and confirmed I had 5 people and would need the extra bed, and never mentioned another charge. They did end up reimbursing me the extra charges, but only after talking with the manager. The hotel is supposed to be 100% smoke free but our room smelled like cigarettes. They had a few updated items, like LED lights outside on the driveway and a new A/C unit in the hallway, but everything else was old and dirty. The carpets need updating terribly, the shower curtain was moldy, and the roll away bed was stained. Needless to stay, we were very glad we were only staying for 1 night. For $200 a night, I would say we over paid by $150.

It’s okay not great. If you’re fussy about things you won’t be happy at all. Room was cleaner than lobby, hallways, breakfast area. Very expensive for what you get.

It's a very basic motel that could use a bit of sprucing up. That said, the price was right and they permit dogs for a fee.

Cleaner than most motels in the area

Very reasonable rates for a facility convenient to the reason for our trip. Perfectly satisfactory for brief weekend "need a place to stay." The beds are very comfortable. Bring along a power strip or two as outlets are at a premium. (I am glad I did so.) The Wi-Fi works fine. I would certainly stay there again when traveling to the same event next year.

We will not be staying here again. It is in a pretty convenient location, but that's about the only positive thing. When we walked into the lobby, it immediately smelled like cigarette smoke. This is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. Our room was on the second floor. Inside the room, the laminate floor had gaps in between pieces and pieces of the popcorn ceiling was hanging down. Like the lobby, the room also smelled like cigarettes. Bath towels were a dingy white and had some faded stains. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, but the pillows were very flat & not fluffy at all. When we left the motel in the morning, we walked outside and it smelled like rotting sewage. Probably just a coincidence, but still gross and concerning.

Something is terribly wrong with this property. There was an odor that permeates everything. We think that there must of been water damage and they hired a company to cover it up. The building is not safe. It is a tear down if there ever was one.

Very friendly desk staff, pics were accurate, building dated, but our room was clean, way off the main road, yet convenient to highway. No noise at night, our bagged breakfast was handy. Can’t complain for the price, it was what I expected. Thank you.

Everything was great after I got there. GPS doesn,t have this lodge in Westbrook found it in Old Saybrook

I liked the convenient location and that the staff (check-in and housekeeping) were friendly and helpful. A very kind housekeeper quickly came in and removed a spider for me after check-in. I was also pleasantly surprised that a continental breakfast was offered. That saved me from having to find a place on my own and possibly facing a long wait on a Sunday morning. The room was clean but could use some updates. There was a definite odor of stale cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. It didn't bother me too much b/c I grew up around smokers, but other guests might not be able to tolerate it. The lights were way too dim. As I left the room in the morning, I noticed water on the floor, possibly from a leaking refrigerator. It was probably there the night before, but the room was too dark to notice.

It shower was bad! The water no pressure!

Overall the hotel is tired. However, it does appear that the rooms (at least ours) have been very recently refreshed - paint, laminate flooring, furniture, etc. And, our room was as neat and clean as a pin. Perfect for an overnight stay for a destination wedding.

Everything was great for an overnight stay. Only negative is the shower. It was a nice walk in shower with a little step. The problem was it was very narrow, and the shower curtain kept blowing in on you. Not the best set up. Other than that everything was clean, bed was comfortable.

No breakfast on the morning. I’ll never stay there again
