We had the deluxe ocean view suite. It was spacious and comfortable. The view was amazing along with the private pool. There were 2 main pools and 1 was long enough to swim laps in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Really loved this place and would definitely stay again.

A tranquil place, away from the hustle and bustle and with rooms decorated in their style. Facing the sea, one enjoys the view, the sea breeze, the sound of the waves, and a starry night.

The property is beautiful! Right on the water. The hotel is very clean, the food is fantastic (we’ve traveled from the Northern Pacific, to the city to the Osa peninsula and this is the absolute best food we’ve had! Big compliment as we’ve had a lot of good food!) and the staff is attentive and friendly. Definitely a great place to visit.

This is a beautiful property. Our villa was located on the beach and we got to see the most gorgeous sunset. Right in the front was the pool. The property is well kept, all the staff were friendly and helpful and the villa was very comfortable. Eveything about our stay was excellent. We also dined at the restaurant a lot and the food was delicious. I highly recommend coming here for a relaxing stay.

Like most hotels in CR, the pandemic caused a huge loss in revenue so upgrades have not occurred. Every place is run down. However, when the nukes hit Europe and North America, this place will survive because it's made of concrete and they have water filters.

Beautiful gardens/grounds. Great food and staff. Power was out in room for quite a long time but they can’t control the rainstorms!

Nice place but waves on the beach way too high. Good the pools where so nice. Nice breakfast. Very quiet place, nothing going on at all. Liked the massage as well, perhaps a bit too pricey thought.

Everyone at Alma De Pacifico was amazing and helpful. The food was delicious and you can tell they pride themselves on taking care of the hotel. I would 1000 percent recommend this to anyone going to Costa Rica. It is a bit of a drive but for the service and view if the ocean you get it cant be beat!

This property is amazingly beautiful. Staff is wonderful. Food was okay, not authentic more Americanized. They only issue I had and why I would not return was the bugs. Bugs everywhere in the rooms, toilets , shower , kitchen and bed (not bed bugs). I believe if this hotel should fix all doors, windows, sliding doors so the bugs can’t get in. Now the views were impeccably beautiful when we woke up the ocean was my back yard. With a private pool. Oh lastly, the price you pay for the villa, nothing in your room was free. Everything had a price tag attached. Nothing complementary, not even one snack

This isn’t a resort . It’s a retreat. It is very very quiet so it’s not the place to stay if you’re looking for action and excitement. It wish there was a full length mirror in the rooms. Other the than that, the room is beautiful clean and spacious . It’s a great property if you’re looking to just relax

Quiet beachfront resort. Nice restaurant on site. Tour shuttles available. Fun clean rooms, nice landscaping. Very relaxing stay.

The people, facilities and accommodations are stunning. It is quiet and the beach is exquisite. We had a wonderful time and relaxed. I would recommend renting a car as taxis are required and can be costly.

Very beautiful small resort on the beach. Everyone gets a gated private villa. The bathroom was the cutest but it had a high window cracked open at all times due to no exhaust and we tried closing but wouldn’t so bugs were in and out. We had garden view two double bed room but double bed was very small compared to standard double bed and was not comfortable at all. They have made beds and couches part of the construction with whatever material the floor is made of so there was no headboard and you were directly resting head on the wall which concerned me all night about bugs crawling into me. No curtains scared me all night. Birds chirp all night which is so pleasant. Restaurant was crappy. Our place wasn’t as clean. Bfast wasn’t buffet & included only one slice of bread and they charged for one extra piece of bread too. Staff was friendly specially Luna at reception desk. Spa is open, Covid test on site, two pools were gorgeous. Hot tub was on literally for one hr everyday. Lots of unleashed dogs on the beach. Local food was available at about 2miles drive. Mostly old people were at the resort so there is literally no activity at the resort you just chill and go back to your villa by 6 since it gets dark and nothing to do. Manuel Antonio 45mins drive, Jaco 35 mins drive. I have a mix feeling if I would stay here again or not but most likely NOT.

Bad thing: the food at the restaurant is really expensive and barely OK. We had coffe break and dinner once, 4 different mains and entrance were just lacking in flavor. There are a lot of restaurants nearby but is a misfortune to have to go somewhere else being such a nice place (we saw other rooms getting pizza delivered). We didn´t receive the perks due to VIP status. The good--place is stunning, roooms are so big and comfortable, staff is so nice and friendly and accommodating. Staff doing rooms daily work so hard with flowers and the cleaning. The place is stunningly beautiful. Just in front of the ocean. There area few rooms in the sea line with private plunging pool, try to get one of those.

I have to say it was one of our best vacation it was our 25th anniversary and we chose Alma Del to say at. The staff is so friendly the go out of there way to make your stay a memorable one. Evelyn the Reservation manager she is amazing. Freddy our bartender and saver he’s outstanding and the rest of the crew I can’t done thanking you for everything. Hope to see you soon again.

Absolutely stunning, right at the beach, the bungalows are spacious, private, between luscious gardens, the restaurant is awesome, the food delicious, the staff is so nice, there is so much flora and fauna, the flowers, amazing smells, we saw hummingbirds, big butterflies, macaws, black and red squirrels, all kinds of birds, amazing, the Pacific Ocean takes your breath away is infinite, the beach is incredible, we rode horses at the beach, ask the front desk!!!! Pura Vida ❤️

Very nice place. But the room had NO curtains! Not able to sleep in! Restaurant food was very good and fast. No service at the pool or beach area.

Wonderful place , bungalows with perfect view of the ocean. Good food. Beautiful susets.
