Our Host was kind, considerate, and charming. She spent time telling us about things to see in the area and the good restaurants in Rione Monti. The room was quiet and comfortable and the bathroom spacious and elegant. It was a pleasure to spend time with this excellent Host. Marleen

I was very pleasantly surprised to find this lovely, spacious, comfortable, and clean hotel on the Via Cavour in Rome just about 4 blocks from the Santa Maria Maggiore. The building in which it's located with ugly stairwell did not prepare me for what I found within: a friendly, helpful reception and a perfectly comfortable room with a large, firm bed and a large, new, sparkling-clean bathroom. As you will see if you read reviews about hotels in Rome, it can be difficult to find rooms with their own temperature control, working Wi-Fi, hot water in the shower, good water pressure, etc. The Casa Cleo has it all, plus complimentary coffee and hot tea, all for a good price. I will definitely book a room at Casa Cleo again when I return to Rome. Grazie per tutte le vostre gentilezze!

All is really good thanx.. good locations, good owner!

I loved staying here! Easy access to 2 metro stops, convenience stores, quick food, and so many sights! Walk to the Coliseum, walk to Santa Maria Maggiore, walk through Monti, and and and so much more. The room itself was all we needed: comfortable bed, clean nice bathroom, kitchen area, and our own spot in the refrigerator. Nice pastries available every morning too. The staff set us up with all the information we needed for our stay and was available for any questions we had. Despite being in the middle of so much action, evenings were quiet. I really liked.being in such an old building with such a nice room in the middle of an active part of the city! I want to. come back just to stay here again!! If you do stay here, dont miss the little shop, Noni's, at 200 Via Cavur!
