I stayed in 2 other more expensive hotels and this is the one I liked the most. Certainly the one I'll go back to whenever I find myself to be in Antigua Guatemala again. The quality of the products used are top notch, like everything else really. From the toiletries, all the way to the linen. The staff is so well-mannered, friendly, respectful and detail-oriented. The hotel itself is so well decorated, it's like travelling back in time to colonialism. Special mention to Natalia who treated me with so much kindness, patience and provided me with good recommendations and directions whilst also taking good photographs of myself. Also, to the cooks with their home-made style authentic guatemalan breakfast with locally sourced fresh quality ingredients that tempted me to go back just to have a taste of them again. Truly a gem! I wish i could rate it more than 5 stars. By the way, this is my first time reviewing anything on this site, so go figure how good my experience must have been for me to be doing it now.

My fiancé and I stayed at this property for 2 nights and still cannot get over this place. The hospitality, food, and location is 100000/10. Would definitely come back to stay here and recommend this place to anyone. The staff were marvelous and friendly and the bedrooms nothing like I’ve stayed in before and we’ve traveled quit a few times. Loved our stay here!

It was a great overall experience; lovely house and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good and rooms had good space. Only negative aspect was the moldy smell on the room.

Without a doubt one of the very best places I’ve stayed! Charming and well appointed. Well located and quiet. Breakfast was amazing. The rooftop was cozy with spectacular views. And the staff couldn’t be more attentive and welcoming…just wow. Truly, special and exemplary in every aspect. We can’t wait to return…

My wife and I love quaint hotels that maintain the ambiance of the community in which will reside. Posada del Angel is a small 7 room facility with beautiful vistas of the local volcano (Volcan de Agua). The staff is friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful. The staff speaks English if you do not speak Spanish, and their complementary breakfasts are superb! I highly recommend this place for people who wish ot have a flavor of Spanish style Guatemala. Enjoy!!!

I’ve been in several luxury hotels in Antigua and this one takes all the prizes. Everything we asked for was taken to our room right away (even coffee and drinks at 10pm).

Everything was perfect except the wifi. The property needs to get routers in all the guest rooms. Also the lighting in the rooms could be better. We work remote and we had to go to a local cafe to work.

Loves the place, unique decoration, attention to detail, friendly staff. The only dislike is that check in is until 3pm and checkout is at 11:30am. Would recommend ro update checkout until at least noon.

The property is very nice! We were disappointed because we booked 4 nights King room however the day before arrival they messaged to say that we had to take a double room the last night because they had someone else coming in for the King room. They were going to downgrade us the last night, no refund. Expedia refunded us.

This is a beautiful property and the pictures are accurate. It’s a short walking distance to the city center but just far enough away to have a peaceful evening. It really has a bed & breakfast atmosphere that makes you feel like you have the entire property to yourself.

Wow the property was lash with plants and flowers. Beautiful pool and patios with great views and sitting areas. The conmen gathering room was across the pool vey countable with a fire place. Our room was very comfortable with awesome decor . The bathroom vey spacious with all the amenities. The dining room was beautiful with windows that viewed the pool and beautiful garden . The traditional breakfast was excellent. All of the staff
was attentive and friendly. The location close enough to the central location and far enough to avoid some of the noise. Our experience in short very serene and mystical .

This is the most magical boutique hotel I've ever stayed in!! Charm from start to finish and such wonderful personal service from Hanibal! The room screams cozy from the off-the-charts thread count white linens topped with stunning comforters made from local fabrics. The beautiful details were unending from the old wooden doors with a giant skeleton key w tassel to open, interesting wooden vessel holding the toiletries, wooded jars holding shampoo and conditioner.... Stunning lap pool / fountain runs through the center with open air above surrounded by planters with sweet smelling white flowers filling the air. the dining room is perfectly charming with a stone fireplace and windows to the fountain. Love love LOVE this hotel!

This hotel is remarkably beautiful! My room had a private patio upon which were were offered brunch. I also enjoyed the softest sheets ever in a super comfy bed. I will return.

This hotel is beautiful , old style with perfect decorations and full of colors. Breakfast was perfect. Swimming pool just outside my room. Staff was very committed and helpful for every inquire. We definitely will come back. I highly recommend this peaceful and quiet hotel when traveling to Antigua- Guatemala
