The humidity inside that hotel had to be 100%. Very uncomfortable air. The sheets felt wet because it was so humid, after a few hours, the clothes in our suitcases even felt wet. The room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was filthy, wouldn't dare use it.

My hotel room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good and had items not always included. The TV had no channels and there was no hairdryer provided, which usually are present. Overall it was a nice stay and the staff were helpful and friendly.

The front desk staff did their best and are probably not paid enough for what they had to deal with. So I'll give them credit. And the bathroom and linens seemed clean. After that, it was not good.
Upon arrival we were notified that an ice machine leaked into elevator and that wasn't functional and could get a refund. Typically use stairs anyway so turned their offer down but that ended up a regrettable decision. Hotel is supposedly 100% smoke free - our first room smelled like a smoker's room. They moved us to a room and it smelled like a dog. Temp was set at 63 (probably to help with odor). Fridge was FOUL - like soured food or milk had been in it for a very long time - and it froze all of our food. One bed frame had these pieces jutting out but hidden under skirt so your shins got hit if you weren't careful. Other bed was tilted and squeaked and creeked with any movement - also missing comforter. Drawer handle broke off so bare screw poking out to use or catch your leg. Parking limited with most in back or on sides.
Can't speak to breakfast because it wasn't served early enough for us to take advantage of it.
Would encourage one of the options on the west side if coming to Topeka.

I got to the Hotel early before check in and was able to wait in the lobby. The desk attendant called me up and gave me a free upgraded room. The staff was so pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic the day of check out.

I wasn't in my room longer than to just sleep, but it was fine. Everything was clean and quiet. It's not fancy, but was perfect for my purposes.

This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Everyone was polite and helpful. The room was very clean and tidy. I’ll be staying here again.

This is the noisiest property we have ever stayed at. The road noise is horrible! I could hear people next door and in the hall like they were in our room. The stomping of guests in the room above us was loud and most of the night.

We have stayed here several times over the last 4-5 years our high school students attend a Vex robotics competition at Seaman HS and your hotel offers the best comfort, best price, and best service in the area. Thank you and see you again next year.

IHOP is within walking distance and there is a Walmart across the street. Staff is nice.

Staff was quick and courteous but they were going through remodeling so there was a smell of paint or caulk in many areas and the pool was closed. If this was disclosed during the booking I would have booked elsewhere. I don't know what they cook the eggs in for the free breakfast but I'd avoid it.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was nice. The room was clean. The location was easily accessible and near everything we needed. We will definitely stay again if we are in that area.

The remodel when complete will be nice.

We made reservations and were sent an e-mail advising us of some remodeling taking place. We called and tried to change the reservation but was informed that we could not make any changes. We arrived to find the lobby roped off, two side entrances closed and were informed we had to go to the other end of the building to get access to our room. We had loud footsteps or workers working in the room above us for several hours twice during the night. We tried to call the front desk but no one answered the phone. The toilet keep running, so after a few attempts tp fix the float, i finally turned off the water supply valve. We have stayed at IHG properties for over 30 years and this was the worst hotel experience we ever had!

When I am booked this room, they gave me a heads up that there was some construction in the pool was closed. When I got there to go to my room it absolutely look like it was blown up. The workers were there late on a Saturday evening and bright and early Sunday morning, do you think they will at least wait until check out time to bang their hammers and saws I understand the construction part, but let the people know more information about how much of a messed up freaking mess. It was not very happy with the stay, would not had a problem with it if they would’ve gave me more heads up on how the conditions were actually, I could’ve booked somewhere else

The area was well lit at night and checkin was a breeze.

Our room was nice, but if we knew when we booked with this hotel they were remodeling and the pool was closed, we would have booked somewhere else. Other floors were under construction and the dust and debris were all up and down the stairs. The elevator needs work as well. We did not feel safe riding up in it and would take the stairs instead. The breakfast needs improvement. There wasn’t much to do near the hotel or in the area.

I guess you get what you pay for. underneath the toilet seat, it had not been cleaned. one of the queen bed mattresses was very worn and uncomfortable. lamp shade looked like someone had hit it with a bat. behind the night stand, there was food. it appeared there was no attention to detail when it came to cleaning the room. the shower faucet was very loose in the wall.

The bed was comfy and the room was cool on a very warm night. It wasn’t a big deal, but the stool was running a little bit. It’s probably impacting their warer bill. It didn’t keep me awake.

Staff was almost nonexistant. Gave me the wrong key, walked in on other guests in their room due to mix up. Tv never worked. Water stains on the ceiling. Bathroom unclean. Construction upstairs in the hotel. Was told by staff they only do housecleaning every 2-3 days. One of the worst hotels i have ever stayed at.

The property was okay. Didn’t realize they were remodeling when I booked. The room was okay but there was trash on the floor in the bathroom.

Hotel is under remodeling - Pool was not available, and no floors on the first floor were available. Was disappointing after a long day driving that the pool wasn't available. There was no estimate on when the renovations would be completed, likely all summer long. On the plus, good service at check-in, and yummy breakfast in the morning.
