Hotel La Casona Real

These folks treated us like family. They were kind and accommodating, and the hotel is clean, well-kept, and in a great location. Checkout was noon, but they allowed me to hang out at the pool until my husband returned from his diving trip a few hours later.nice people.

Clean, beautiful, spacious room, very attentive and welcoming staff, the service is A+++ (just for that alone, you'd want to come back); botted drinking water; the amenities were not the best, but the staff did everything possible to make our stay more enjoyable, they even bought and installed a brand new hand held shower for us. We had a room with the kitchenette and all the appliances were new, full size refrigerator. *One star off for the amenities and dated cabinets, no hair dryer, but overall, pleasant stay, good location within a short walking distance from downtown, stores and restaurants, although some 5 min from the airport, it was quiet, we even forgot how close we were to the airport. The hotel is funky as one would expect from the photos. It looks like they are undergoing some renovations in the courtyard area. If you get a room facing 25th, the Cantina across is very loud until the wee hours of the morning. The bed and pillows were quite hard. The room was clean and the shower pressure was OK.
