Hotel de la Banniere de France

Very welcoming and set in the historic center -or very close. Large, comfortable room, multi-lingual receptionist and excellent breakfast, much of which is home made/home grown, including the jams. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on this particular evening, but if breakfast was anything to go by I expect a dinner there would be equally delicious. (There were other restaurants in easy walking distance.) I look forward to staying there again.

Extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Rooms comfortable but a little faded. Wifi signal didnt reach my bedroom on second floor. Excellent location in the medieval city. Make sure you book parking in the private garage in advance.

Budget hotel, basic but very convenient. Very helpful staff.

Excellent location in Laon. Husband and wife staff were extremely friendly and helpfull. We'd hoped to dine on site for our evening meal. Their restaurant was closed and they found us an alternative restaurant and made a dinner reservation for us. I was recovering from a cold and the owner prepared me a hot lemon honey and ginger drink to have before I went to bed. Even made me one the following morning. To some the hotel may feel dated, but out group of 8 loved the sense of history the hotel had. The building has heritage status and should I ever find myself back in Laon, I would definitely stay here again.
