The room was a little small but for the location and price i think it was rather worth it

This hotel cancelled my payment through Expedia to make it paid at the property. I asked several times for a receipt, and I never got it. May be they are trying to avoid feeds through the application but I founded really dodgy and I had to go and check all my payment records to check I was not double charged. I moved hotels the next morning, you can find better places in the same area. Avoid.

Was very happy with the place and service. Very close to Eurostar and 24 hour front desk was a good feature.

Let me do early check in and let me leave my luggage for 6 hours in reception

Travelling solo and having to make last minute changes to my travel plans I decided to explore London on the cheap. I read the reviews for several hotels. This one caught my attention as the reviews seemed almost too good to be true. Yet some were very low. What really stood out was the thoughtful responses from the hotel staff. The low reviews were most likely from people who did not read the hotel disclosures about shared bathrooms. That was not a problem for me. The hotel is clean the staff is friendly and welcoming and I could not have been happier with my choice. I look forward to staying again for my next trip to London.

Welcomed my friendly staff. Didn't realise I'd booked a room with shared bathroom, but wasn't a problem. All facilities were very modern and clean. Bed comfy, room quiet.

Lovely staff and enjoyed my stay. Great location. It’s good for what it is, my room didn’t have a bathroom in but it was clear in the ad so it’s not a problem at all.

no bath or toilet in room

This was my first hostel experience and it was great. We had a sink and shower in our room (not sure if all are that way) and the bathroom was down the hall with another shower. Everything was clean and they were very friendly and we had no problems aharing the bathroom with the neighbours for 3 days. The only annoyance is we had one key we had to share and my friend and i split up to do different things but they said we could leave the key at the desk and whoever got back first could pick it up so it worked out.

I had a great stay here. I decided to stay in London a few more days, booked this last second and it was very convenient, right next to the Underground. I never had a shared bathroom experience before so that was new, but, not a bad experience. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again if the price was right

I would say that everything was fine! Clean sheets, clean bathroom (despite it being shared) and good security. For me the only issue was that my room was right next to the bathroom, so I was awake from 4:30am, when the first people started showering.

Quick stop over in London to see friends and went out for the night. Reception was very friendly and informative. Just wanted we needed.

The location of the hotel is great. But it is expensive for the room you get. I heard everything whenever people were talking or even people in the shower. If yoi just one a room to sleep is ok but probably you can get something cheaper.

Everything is clean and ready. The stairs are steep and many. Staff was very helpful.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my family (2 adults, 13, 11, 9 yr old kids). Our room was simply a room of beds, 1 double, 3 twins, 2 sinks, small desk and one chair with a small closet with 2 drawers by the door. The bathroom was just outside our room with a toilet, sink and stall shower. Everything was very clean and seemed well maintained. There is no elevator and the stairs were a little narrow so navigating with large suitcases may be challenging for some. Check in was fairly smooth in the next building, which has a 24 hr reception desk for 3 properties which are adjacent. There was a little difficulty verifying payment as I had paid with a virtual card online, and the property needed verification of ownership of the payment card. Otherwise the location was great as it was very close to a major tube station and lots of great places to eat within walking distance. There was an a/c unit in the room, however use of it required an extra fee. We did have a window and a fan in the room but as it was not too hot during our stay, we had no need for a/c. Beds were comfortable, and we had no issue with the bathroom being in use or unavailable or dirty during our stay. Room was tidied while we were out and the bathroom and shower were in good working order and kept clean. Not fancy but was perfect for what we needed.

Awful tiny room, no facilities. When I called was put through to an out of hours advisor who was rude, aggressive and abusive when I asked about who to complain to! Rang Hotels.com as was concerned for welfare of my son given nature if response, obtained a £44 voucher and promised call back from hotel but the call never happened! Shocking

Perfect stay - Hotels.com totally messed up our booking & had called it in as “cancelled” which was not the case, so we’re very lucky they still had a room - but the receptionist sorted it super quickly and was super helpful and patient
Hotel was super clean, tidy, shower & bathrooms perfect. Couldn’t fault anything, situated in a really nice & quiet part of London that was incredibly central too.
Thanks!!

Great little budget hotel, wasn’t aware of the shared bathrooms until check-in, but was offered an upgrade with a private bathroom due to a recent cancellation. Definitely do the upgrade if offered!

Very conveinent location, for the station, and pubs to eat at near by. Good value hotel, extremely clean room with everything you need, and comfy enough bed. We had a basic double,so it was small but we were out all day and evening so that was okay. The shared bathroom was very clean with good shower and in good order, also well stocked, with bath mats etc.The staff were very friendly and helpful.
