We loved how close the hotel was to things. So much was in walking distance.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. This was a great option for budget-friendly business travel

Avoid this place. The rooms are small and outdated. The AC is very loud. The staff is rude and not helpful.

This hotel was excellent! The staff was phenomenal- went above and beyond for customer service! They made great recommendations for nearby food, and places that deliver. The breakfast is amazing- not just a run of the mill waffle maker and yogurt. They offer yummy options that change slightly day to day with some standard staples like yogurt, fruit, and cereal. The hotel itself is well appointed and in a great location. My two teens and I shared the King Suite which had a couch, and the space was perfect for us. Location wise It’s about a 5 minute walk to the nearest Metro station, about 2 blocks to the White House, and plenty of parks and food nearby. The area is clean, and safe. The only two (very minor) negatives I can say is that one of the hotel elevators was out of order during our stay. Overall, the only time it was an issue was first thing in the morning. Second- it’s directly next door to a gentlemen’s club. However- we never had any issues related to that even when out and about at nighttime. Just some guests may be more sensitive to that than others.

Everyone that works at Hyatt Place DC White House is super nice and goes out of there way to help. Front Desk got hot water, lemon, and honey for my girls when he saw them coughing

Staff is very friendly and considerate. We had to switch our room because our first room was located beside Archibalds Gentleman’s Club and we could hear the music thumping throughout the night. We did not get much sleep. Our second room was a very quiet but the heat did not work. The breakfast was great. The breakfast staff was nice and courteous.

Toilet gurgled all day and night. Housekeeping was not good.

Breakfast area to small for the large number of guests.

Stay was very nice, the room was extremely hot even after trying to lower the temperature significantly

T was a welcome relief! He greeted me and made sure I was all set. Check in was quick but informative. Breakfast was available in the morning and easy to navigate. The only con was the condition of the room...some upkeep is needed. My tv had weird burning on it. I'm not sure but the shower may be missing a leak guard to keep water in, it wasnt anything major but it is noticeable. It was a very last minute trip but I would still return purely due to the service i received.

I absolutely loved how clean and quiet my stay was and that morning breakfast daily and different options of menu were in point,the staff was beyond professional and made you feel lile Family at all times, i am onmy staying at this location from now on

The staff was amazingly nice and helpful. The property is perfect for a one night business stay (2 tops). Clean and suitable.

Location and staff were fantastic! However the room was incredibly cold and the heating too loud to sleep with. Whatever was outside our window as well as incredibly noisy and interrupted sleep. Breakfast left a lot to be desired and the rooftop bar was closed.

The hotel has a lot of problems, one elevator doesn't work, the hot water is not the best sometimes. The hotel need a remodelling and fix many of the problems they have.

This property was perfect. My only concern is parking

It’s a nightmare to get breakfast. The dining area is too small.

They had no Air Conditioning in our room. Never did for 3 nights. Did nothing because we booked through a 3rd party( hotels.com). We saved nothing, had a miserable experience and no recourse with a 3rd party booking. Book direct only!

Practical in and out

Perfect spot for our visit to look at colleges. The staff was excellent and very helpful.

Staff is so friendly

Air conditioner didn’t work, which made the room uncomfortable during an unusually warm October weekend. On one day, the room was only partially serviced - one bed was made and the other was not.

Booked through a booking agency. Room was so small, in back of hallway, had window no light in room from window. There were a group of young kids in next room, running in hall, playing games. Called desk nothing done. We had to ask them ourselves to keep it quiet. Disappointed in room location and size.

Valet took awhile to get our cars. Ac in room was not working well and took awhile to cool the room other than that customer service was great.

Worth the stay. Convenient to many restaurants, and attractions
