It must have some shady guests before ... there were signs to tell guests not to cook in the room, sign to tell guests about CHF 100 fine for letting the water leaked from under the shower door. BTW, the shower door is leaking if one uses its rain curtain shower head on top. The only way to avoid the water spilling on the door and leaking out of its bottom gap is to use the hand held. So it is an architectural design fault that the management tried to pin on the guests if they, God Forbid, uses the rain curtain shower head and leave a pool of water out of the door that he or she closed properly. Come on - it's rude.

Nice people and modern building.
Unfortuantelly was very hot and also with open windows was difficult to stay. The bed have a good mattress but the base of the bed was not flat with e side more loose than the other.
One of my worst night in the last years.

The room was spacious and clean, even the bathroom! We had a room with a big balcony. The breakfast was sufficient. Personal was friendly! We stayed only one night, but I wouldn't mind to stay longer and I would for sure stay here again when I visit this region of Switzerland.

We were given a free pass for the bus. The bus stop was very close to the hotel and we went to Lucerne for the day. We didn’t have to worry about finding parking in Lucerne. Very convenient.

A great find. Clean, very convenient to reach with the free bus pass and bus route into Lucerne almost door to door. We had a big, clean room, delicious fresh breakfast every day and staff always had a smile for us. We'll be back!

Pros: Great location, amazing staff, good views from balcony, comfortable bed, very clean
Cons: room is small for the price, no elevator/lift to 4th floor

We were travelling to Italy and had overnight stay the rooms are small but very clean we left very early and motorway only a couple minutes so ideal. We would stay here again if we ever do this route again.

Be careful ! While check-in, the owner would like to do COPY from credit card ! (He talk me that it's for security if i broke something in room)
Because the reservation was done and ready payed, we can't refused it without to lost the night room value. Finally we no have the room that we ready payed.

It is a good hotel. It takes 20~25 minutes from the station. You can take no 2 bus. Only problem I had was the shower room. The drian has a problem. The water is over the drain. Except that, everything was good

Front desk was very nice. The price of the room seemed a little high for the value and location. A/C was great, but had a mildow smell. If you're looking for a one-night stay, this hotel is fine. If wanting to stay here for multiple days, I would not recommend. There is not much going on around this area, and not super close to the city.

The hotel is located about 20 minutes by bus from downtown Lucerne. The free bus provided was great. About 1/2 block from the hotel is a bus stop for bus #2. The bus runs to the Bahnhof which is the city center. The return trip is just as simple. Board bus #2 at the Bahnhof and the hotel stop is the last stop. There was adequate free parking.
The staff was friendly.
The breakfast was ok but not great. It was cold meat, cheese, bread, and cereal.

Very nice hotel with very friendly and helpful check-in staff (sorry don't recall her name). Complimentary travel voucher provided which is of great assistance as the hotel is around 20 minutes from city centre. Very clean, large room and bathroom.
Only negative was no tea/coffee making in room and basic breakfast

This place exceeded my expectations. It was much nicer than a few of the reviews I had read. The location was amazing (because we had a rental car), the free breakfast was more than we had expected, and it was quieter and cleaner than expected. Also has a Coop right next door, which was super convenient! The room was sort of small, that is my only complaint.

Excellent access to bus routes into the city. The free bus service provided by the hotel was a bonus. Close to bank, post shop, groceries and some local restaurants. Room was modern, clean with ample storage. After travelling, it was unfortunate there were no tea/coffee making facilities in our room or able to access.

Great hotel just out of Lucerne - free bus to Lucerne runs regularly. Perfect for our 3 night stay. Staff very helpful and friendly, great breakfast.

We stayed only one night and checked in at 9:30 pm very efficiently.
The room was clean and comfortable and big enough for an overnight stay and the bathroom was clean and functional.

Just terrible, they claimed that we have packed the hotel towels and wrote an email of robbery & police complaint. I m still wondering how anyone can rob the used disgusting towels. False allegations, still not resolved.

Clean and affordable hotel in a small town near Lucern. It takes 10 minutes to drive to the city center. Very convenient. The staff are nice.

My order by mistake was for one person.
Once we checked in we realized the mistake.
I was told that it is OK but I will need to pay extra 15 SF per day for the extra person

At check out I was charged 25 SF per day
I was given some strange argument about extra water and soup
I am very unhappy with this over charging !!
