Honestly the customer service was below par for this hotel. Checkin desk didn’t go over any amenities and didn’t greet us. For a Hyatt Hotel, the room aren’t very nice and over priced. Over night parking is $45.

A great hotel option that is walkable to the national mall and museums.

This property is very well located for work on the Hill, Uber is readily available, and the breakfast is fine. Easy walk to the Mall.

Queue for breakfast is absolutely ridiculous. You pay $400US to fight for breakfast and sit at dirty tables….location is the best thing about this hotel

Staff was helpful at checkin and the room was decent. The breakfast situation was a disaster. Only decaf coffee available and it seemed like only two people were staffed to keep up with hundreds of people.

The hotel was great! The rooms are large, the beds were great, the breakfast buffet was really good with lots of choices. The location is very convenient to seeing all of the capital mall. There were a couple things that I didn’t anticipate. I called the hotel ahead of time and the recorded message said that there was food available every day 24/7. We were arriving late so we planned on just ordering food at the hotel. When we got there, there was no food available, and nothing within walking vicinity. We used Uber eats, but that didn’t go smoothly. We had a wonderful view of the city and the Jefferson monument. The only problem is there were only light filtering blinds on the windows. We wanted to be up early, so it was OK for us. I would definitely stay again..

The stay was adequate but several elements stood out that should be considered by upper management: The advertisement for food/restaurant was very misleading; the sandwiches and flatbreads were clearly premade, frozen and then reheated, which is not in and of itself bad but the pictures and descriptions (and cost!) reflected otherwise. The neighborhood had no other options nearby except for another hotel with a proper restaurant. When we arrived only one of the three elevators was working and i think there were only two people on staff- they were very friendly but clearly over run with the needs of a very busy hotel!. In order to request an addditional blanket or ask about hotel info i had to go to the front desk because no one was answering the phones (they were just too busy!) The sliding farm door leading to our toilet was all but inoperable, the desk staff put it on the list to be attended to, but this did not happen while we were there; we had to leave it open all week.
