We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Kapaa Sands! The condo had everything we needed and the location was great for travelling around the island

Sharon was an absolutely wonderful host. She went above and beyond in so many ways. The property is central to shopping, bike trails, food, and easy to get in and out of. The views are spectacular. Though it’s not where we chose to spend our days (beach access, but not accommodating for our surfing activities), there are amazing beaches and attractions close by. It also was a great location to take a trip up to the north shore or over to Wanapepe or Waimea. Listening to and watching the waves right outside and main and second floor was breathtaking and soothing, especially at night. The property staff was welcoming, as well. We did not use the pool but it looked clean and inviting.
There are beach chairs and an umbrella that we used for our beach days - a game changer. One suggestion would be to have a cooler.
If Sharon hosts a VRBO, we are there! We cannot thank you enough for going above and beyond in every way.

The location of this property was great! We had amazing views, with an outdoor area great for relaxing. The home itself had everything we needed for a weeklong stay. Everything was pretty close to perfect!

We couldn't temporarily put any food within the microwave or on the counters. We had leftover food from the Indian restaurant that we were going to eat later that night and decided to put in the microwave until we were ready to reheat and eat it. The containers were in the microwave for about an hour when we noticed that our food was covered in small black ants. My wife had chocolates in a zip lock bag on the counter. We noticed that the ants had eaten a hole in the plastic bag and were all over the chocolate. Even though there is a cool breeze from the ocean at night, it would be nice to have a portable AC unit in the house for periods during the summer days while temperatures are much warmer.

Everything was as described and the beach was more impressive than we had expected. Would stay here again.

The place was clean and the property owner was responsive, but over the 5 days we encountered 4 cockroaches. My wife was loading the dishwasher and a cockroach flew out of it, causing her to drop and break a wine glass. We then found 3 more cockroaches throughout the condo and were continually paranoid about finding more. It’s obvious that this wasn’t a one-time occurrence since the Raid bottle we used to kill the cockroaches was almost empty. We were disappointed that we weren’t notified of this possibility beforehand and felt like we were misled into renting this condo for our honeymoon. Furthermore, on our final morning the cleaners came 1.5 hrs early (at 8:30am, interrupting our breakfast) and stood outside the condo causing us to rush out of the place. I really wanted to like this place and give it the benefit-of-the-doubt but I don’t believe we can.

We loved the property, location, etc. We stayed for 2 weeks and my only suggestion would be to leave more than 4 bath towels when youre staying 2 weeks. Also a change of bed linens after a week would be nice but overall we had a good visit and would definitely stay here again

We loved our stay at Kapa’a Sands. The unit is tastefully furnished with plenty of amenities. The beds were comfortable and the fans helped keep the place cool. The view from the lanai is amazing with the ocean a short walk down a stone path. The grass behind the unit is lush and a great place to sit and watch the ocean or get in a workout. We utilized the beach chairs and umbrellas as well as the pool noodles. The 11 year old pretty much lived in the pool and the community bbq was ok. We had to clean it a little, but it was fully functional. It’s a great location on the beach, but with privacy provided by the grassy and ledge area. Easy to get to other parts of the island and only 10 minutes from airport! You can walk to a delicious bakery and two shopping centers with food, grocery (though expensive, but can drive to cheaper grocery) and shopping. The kitchen had most of what we needed. We bought a couple of other spices, but had salt and pepper. And had a good selection of knives, but cutting fruit (pineapple, apples) was a little hard. We hope to be able to stay again in the future!

Beautiful views and wonderful stay at Kapaa Sands. Can’t wait to come back and hear the ocean waves from the condo. Location is great and can walk to many shops.

Easy to find, from the airport. Easy to get to places to eat and see. All of the amenities needed if you want to stay and make your own meals. They had beach chairs available too. Beds were comfortable. The ocean sounds and breezes rocked you to sleep.

The backyard and little secluded beach are nothing short of perfect. The place is a little beach-rustic, but still in good condition and makes for a pleasant stay. Location is short drive to shops and restaurants and close to their airport.

Beautiful view of the beach and ocean. We enjoyed hearing the ocean and watching the waves. Great central location to get to the Na Pali coast, Hanalei, Waimea canyon, Poipu and Lihue or any other places you want to hike, bike, kayak, surf, snorkel or tour (or relax on the lanai). The townhouse was roomy with only one other connecting unit. (No units above or below you)

Such a beautiful getaway in a fabulous little condo on the ocean! It had everything we needed and more. Amazing sunrises every day and even saw a few whales in the evenings. We will definitely be back :)

Great location. Great views. Condo had plenty of kitchen items. We added a few ice packs to the freezer for coolers in the future. Plenty of towels. Also, may want to add YouTube to the Roku tv for future users.
