Stayed at this property for new years. Location is average due to lack of snow. Let’s be realistic, at 3500 feet elevation there will be no snow. Cleanliness is below average. Food leftovers in the kitchen, dirty dishes, rundown carpet and dirty dusty corners were found. Water heater worked sporadicly. Room arrangement and total occupancy were way over inflated. At best this house is good for 12-14 people.. One of the advertised bedroom is a laundry room conversion with a bed. Owner refused any charcoal, gas or open fire grills due to county restrictions. However, next door neighbor had both : smoker and gas grill outside. The play structure outside was good. Owner was responding to question quick and effective. Downstairs arrangement for kids stay was nice.l as well.

This trip was a special family trip for my 60th birthday, we took care to ensure the bedroom situation accommodated all family members. The downstairs bedroom which is actually an office was missing a door, it had a pocket door on one side and a missing door near the garage, hardly suitable for my recently married son and his wife! We saw a review prior to arriving where a person complained of the situation, but the host replied that there was a pocket door that they had missed so we assumed it wasn’t an issue. Until we arrived and saw the other door was missing entirely! We also arrived to a half eaten rotting lasagna left behind, which was disgusting! The laundry room was filthy, sheets and towels piled up on the floor and dirty towels piled on top of the dryer! Also the play room was not anything as described, the slide for the kids was broken and had a metal rod sticking out which is dangerous for our grandchildren all under 7 years of age. The bean bags were completely flat, and item’s described such as a poker table and play items were no where to be found. I messaged the host and did not get a response from her until the next day. I was told a code was necessary to retrieve the items from a locked closet( should have been in the guest binder information) the sliding glass door in the family room had a lock that was broken and would not latch, they put a piece of wood in the door to keep it shut! Sharin’s property was super clean, spacious, cozy and perfect for a group of 20! We had questions during our stay and Sharin was So quick to respond! The playroom is fantastic for the littles to play - lots of space and options for them. Overall, we LOVED our stay and would definitely book this property again!! It’s gorgeous. Thank you, Sharin!

We had a great weekend at Sharins house in Twain Harte. She was easy to communicate with and the house was very clean. It fit 4 families and kids easily. The only reason for a 3star in accuracy is one of the 5 bedrooms didn’t have a door on it.

This is a spacious home on a large lot surrounded by cedar and pine trees. It's on a quiet dead-end street. It was a great house for our family reunion with our three adult children and their families
