The staff were very professional but also kind and warm. They provided us times for private/family onsen due to our queer nature for both our comfort and others, which we were very thankful for. The traditional breakfast was diverse and delicious. The room was spacious and comfortable. The downstairs lounge provided free drinks, a bookshelf of manga and a TV. Comfortable yukata were provided.

There wasn't anything to dislike!

Our stay at Ryokan Sanoya was wonderful. The room was spacious enough for the three of us. The onsen was also a highlight; it was a great place to relax after a long day. Kyoto Station is just a five-minute walk away. We highly recommend Ryokan Sanoya without reservation.

Great experience of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The onsen was great to relax in. Staff very friendly. Close to Station restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing

Property was well situated for the ferry port, which is where we are heading. The staff were helpful and the property was clean

We had a room for my wife, myself and my 13 year-old daughter and this made it very very small. Being 6 foot six I also found the bathroom extremely small and low.
