The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the peacock theming (but that might not be for everyone.) The bathroom felt luxurious. I made use of the spa discount.

The location was just a little out of the way and I ended up taking Grab more than just walking into town. The pool view was more like a courtyard view as I was given the 3rd floor and was looking more at the rooms across the way than the actual pool.

I actually didn't stay in the room that I booked, I paid extra for a larger room when I checked in. This was offered to me upfront and the hotel price matched the room. Hence, the room I paid for was massive and was seemed to be more comfortable than the room that I would have originally stayed in. The bed I stayed on was massive, super still and comfortable. The best part of this stay is the friendly staff. Chloe was super friendly and super helpful for me and my partner. The breakfast options were decent. The pool was nice and relaxing as well. The hotel was a 10 min walk from Old Town, but you can always borrow the hotel's bike to ride in. Just make sure you are comfortable riding around a lot of bikes, cars and trucks. It was also about a 20-25min ride to An Bang Beach. The interesting thing was that the team seemingly cleaned our room twice on our second day. They cleaned once in the morning, and cleaned again once at night when we were out in old town. I found that this extra service was very lovely. Would I stay again? 100%, but I will need to make sure I book the larger room again!

I would say the mini fridge in the room was quite weird, it felt like it didn't reach the required temperature and/or it also turned off if the key card was placed in the holder. Aside from that, everything else was fine.
