Amazingly beautiful and peaceful place! The host is absolutely amazing, and the authentic Kerala food was delicious. ❤️ Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay somewhere calm and serene, surrounded by nature, while enjoying delicious local food and warm hospitality.

Nothing

We spent four wonderful nights at Kalidasa Tree House, and from the very first moment Sudheesh went out of his way for us: always attentive, always full of suggestions, with that warmth of someone who genuinely enjoys looking after his guests. The little house itself is pure magic: built around a tree, with a triple trunk running through the interior, and views of the forest teeming with life and colour. It was spotless, kept impeccably clean at all times. Having breakfast and dinner on the lower terrace, surrounded by nature, listening to the birdsong and the croaking of the frogs, is something we’ll never forget. His wife, Jyothi, won us over through our taste buds: every breakfast and every dinner was a discovery of the country’s flavours, with that much-appreciated home-cooked touch, and always with a smile we won’t forget. Her fresh juices, the tea and that coffee they grow themselves leave a scent that lingers in the memory. Sudheesh’s parents and his daughter were also lovely, and their constant care and attention throughout our stay made all the difference. I don’t know what more one could ask for from such a beautiful place to stay. We’d return in a heartbeat and recommend it wholeheartedly. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
