The staff & management were very kind and accommodating. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The food was made to order and tasted great. Great location (minutes from my event) and the price was reasonable. I couldn’t have done better. Thanks to all involved with my stay.

The staff were all pleasant and helpful.
The food was well cooked and presented and the atmosphere in the inn was generally very convivial.
Plenty of parking available.
Our room was clean and comfortable, even if the en-suite was a bit of a squeeze to get into. Being near to the road through the village there was a bit of traffic noise in the morning, but not too bad.
The village of Langwathby is a pleasant place to have a stroll around and there's lots of lovely countryside on the doorstep.
The bar area could do with a bit more lounge-style comfortable seating. It's very much set up for dining.

Beautiful location and a lovely old Inn. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely clean room and a comfortable bed. Large tv in room compared to many places we have stayed.
Evening meal and breakfast both very good. We were asked if we would like a large or smaller portion as servings very large for evening meal.

Nice pub in a lovely village within easy reach of the M6 so good for an overnight stay on the way back from Scotland. Room was OK but quite basic.
The accommodation was very overpriced - we expected something much better for the price we paid.
