great forest retreat

This was a wonderful place to stay. Clean as whistle and stocked with all the necessities.

Beautiful property, perfect for a weekend trip to reunite with friends. House was clean, spacious and meet all of our expectations. Would definitely rebook this property again. Short distance to Jack Daniels Distillery and the square.

We had a great time at the cabin near Tims Ford State Park. It was located between Winchester and Lynchburg.. the furnishings were nice but not super comfortable. The living room was set up in the coldest area of the cabin and could have been placed better in order to see the television. An additional television would have been nice. We unfortunately experienced an influx of stink bugs. The property manager responded quickly to my message concerning the bugs, however nothing could be done until Monday. We were only there Friday -Sunday, so that was not helpful to us. We had to even get one out of our bed….. yuck!!!! Upstairs bedrooms were nice and beds were comfortable. The upstairs bathroom was a bit small for accommodating two bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom was also nice and that bathroom was more spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. The foosball table was fun!! I would suggest adding living room furniture where the unusable fireplace is located and adding a television there, where it is warmer in the house.. Overall it was a nice stay and a cute place. A few small adjustments and fixes and it could be amazing.

we loved it, very simple but in good taste, the fire place was pictured but not listed as an amenity. I must have missed that as we missed having it , would suggest an elec one on the fabulous hearth, all in all very nicely done, grandkids LOVED the swing and Fuseball ... and we want to come again!
