Bella Vista is so much prettier in person, it's the perfect location! Done issues were a few doors didn't open and the washer didn't work but we still enjoyed our stay. This home is beautiful and I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the property overall, and were happy with our decision. However, there are some things that need maintenance - the BBQ grill doesn't work very well (it's worn out), the oven vent doesn't work, an outside door was stuck (we reported it and nothing was done while we were there), only towels were offered (that is, no kitchen towels or bathroom hand towels or wash clothes), etc. We found the management company to be friendly, but they didn't really do anything - like respond to our messages or phone calls. The location is great and we enjoyed the balconies, game tables, and pool. We probably won't choose it again, but mostly because of the management company.

Beautiful home, well-appointed kitchen. Very convenient location. Tons of storage. Silver Sands is wonderful to work with!

Staff at check in wee clueless. Gave us a code to open the door and then when we got there, we needed a physical key. A maintenance person was here and said that I had to drive back to get the keys.

The large kitchen and dining room area was great for get-togethers. It is not "beachfront" as the title implies. It's across the street and down the block and very close to the beach, but it's not beachfront by any means. A few things were broken, including the ceiling fans and BBQ. A repairman came over, but was unable to repair things. No one else returned, and the office stopped responding to requests for service. The house was very clean, and a convenient walk or drive into the town.

The home is beautiful, very clean, well maintained and accommodated all of us very comfortably. The 6 individual bed/bath were very spacious and comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the bunk room. We enjoyed the pool and grilling on the patio. The shuffleboard table was enjoyed by all. The third floor kitchen, dining and living room was very accommodating with fantastic views. The beach is just a short walk along a well maintained boardwalk. We really enjoyed the Red Dragon Pirate Cruise at sunset and highly recommend it for anyone with kids. We also enjoyed a bonfire on the beach which was a perfect way to wind down after our Thanksgiving feast. Don't worry about getting out of shape staying here as you will be a super stair climber by the time you leave:) The folks at Silversands prop. management provided good service and were very nice to work with prior to and during our stay. Recommendations for owner/prop. manager: Fix faulty doorknobs on 1st and 3rd floor outside doors. Supply an electric hand mixer in kitchen. Provide travel size soap, shampoo and lotion in bathrooms. Shuffleboard table needs leveling and extra powder/wax available and some chalk for the chalkboard. A service elevator would be an outstanding addition for packing in/out of the third floor kitchen.

After reading previous reviews, we knew to take kitchen towels, soap, and paper products for our use. We made do with the utensils and pots and pans provided but expected more variety and number of some of the items. Also with prior warning, we were expecting the very small grill that is the substitute for the larger, built in grill that has deteriorated. For the price paid, one could expect that this built in grill would be replaced with a comparable one that is clean and functional. Additionally, we did find that a couple of the ceiling fans in bedrooms were not working and shelving from the refrigerator door was found broken and placed in the pantry thus making storing food items much more difficult. These items were reported to the management company with no action being taken during our stay. In spite of these things, overall, we were content with our stay at Bella Vista.
