What an amazing place. It was a perfect getaway.

It was 86 degrees inside the property when we arrived in the afternoon. There was a yellow sticky note right next to the thermostat: “Thermostat controls air only”. We messaged the owner twice before he responded, that it was incredibly hot & the AC was not functioning properly.. Unfortunately we had to leave for a family dinner & we’re gone by the time we got a response from the owner. The owner made no offer nor any attempt to come fix the problem at this time. He claimed that we just needed to turn the thermostat way down & actually turn it on (even though he knew we were coming & should have already had it turned on, since it was hot). When we returned, after sunset, it was still 83 degrees. We attempted directly texting & calling the owner but no one answered & the direct text messages were not responded to. While I was on the phone with VRBO about this, the owner said he could come over & claimed no one has had a problem before. I don’t know how that makes any difference to the fact that it wasn’t working, wasn’t being attended to & had a note posted that it wasn’t working! VRBO tried to call & got no answer, no call back, no response. I said “OK - but it’s not cooling” and got no more response and no one came to fix it. We spent a very hot, very humid, & very uncomfortable night in this house, with inside temperatures maintaining at 6 degrees hotter than outside. VRBO stated we should leave a review & request a refund. Neither VRBO or the owner has responded.

When you open the garage door you can smell the perfume smell to the end of the driveway. Use products that smell. We left in less than 2 hours and checked into a hotel with no smells If you apr planning on using the double garage beware a ping pong table is taking up room so you don’t get the full use of a double car garage

Overall it was very nice. The only issue was entering through the gate each and every time. There was always a wait and sometimes the staff at the gate was a little rude. I would have been great if there was an easier option such as a remote to open the gates; just something not to have to wait in the guest entry line so long each time we came back to the property.

This is a wonderful property. Mike & Monica are top notch hosts. Their house was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The coffee bar and amenities they provided were excellent. Neighborhood is fantastic. Looking forward to our next stay at this great property.

The hosts are amazing! Very responsive and thoughtful. I can't say enough how great they are. Their home is fully equipped wuth everything you need and a little extra. Very clean, beds were very comfy, plenty of kitchen dishes and garage space. They have really thought of everything. Will definitely stay here again!!

This is a great option for family to stay in the neighborhood. The house is clean and comfortable, and Michael and Monica are available to answer questions. My family loved the coffee bar and full kitchen for making meals.
