Location and staff
They gave me a very small room at check-in although I always specify a garden floor with balcony for smoking.. they changed to another non-practical room. They charged the same amount but didn't give breakfast even though I always book with breakfast.

The convenient location near the airport facilitated our transfer to an early morning flight out of IST. Helpful staff set up the pre-dawn pickup to go to the airport. Room is small and basic, but comfortable enough.
The hotel is surrounded by vacant lots in a very humble town. This hotel exists because of its convenience to the airport, not because of the wonders of Arnavutköy.

The shuttle service was excellent, easy to find the pickup point and the vehicle was very comfortable. There is a restaurant on site but we didn't use it. The breakfast was excellent with lots of very nice choices. The room was comfortable.
There is a no alcohol policy at the hotel, which I wasn't aware of but should have read the fine print because it does say this when you book. We had come from Australia and my husband was gasping for a nice cold beer but no such luck. And the nearest supermarket to buy some beer was a 15 minute walk but after a 15 hour flight we didn't have the energy. The area where the hotel is situated is very drab and dismal.
