The area is still recovering from the Altadena fire, but there is an excellent Greek restaurant around the corner from the unit. The unit was clean, comfortable and exactly as described.Unfortunately, there was considerable difficulty with the check-in process. Unlike other VRBO properties I have rented, this property does not bill directly through VRBO. Because I did not receive a bill from a separate leasing company, the process of checking-in lasted over 4 hours and many text exchanges with the host, Daniel, VRBO customer service and phone conversations with 3 different agents at the property leasing company. Daniel responded to all my texts but only said that things were being worked on. Due to problems on the leasing agent’s end, they did not provide a bill, process my payment and issue check-in instructions until more than 1hr past check-in time. When I was finally sent the check-in info, no address to the property was included and the link provided did not work. Finally I was able to reach a third employee at the leasing agency, who acknowledged I had not been provided the property address and was able to give it to me. I was in town for the weekend to view apartments with my son and his wife who are relocating to LA, so having to spend so many hours dealing with the rental of this property was very unfortunate

Great host. The apartment was nice and roomy with all the amenities. The surrounding are is impacted by the wildfires, but walking distance to anything you’d need or want.
