we stayed here for a long birthday celebration. It was a perfect house for a large group, for all ages. The house was stocked with many dishes and pot and pan. The beds were so comfortable. We did not get to do many outside activities because of the rain. I would recommend it The house is an older house and is beginning to show its age.

We had a wonderful time. The 5 bedrooms and 3 baths were perfect for our group. The kids had a great time in the lower level with the bunk beds and rec room. The facilities at WLE were convenient to the house and varied enough to please everyone. Nathan and Kara were great hosts and communicators. We hope to return next year.

The house was in a nice typical Pocono community with lots of amenities which we used most of them. The house itself sits on a main road which can sometimes be busy but not so much that the traffic noise is an issue inside. The kitchen was well equipped and furniture was good. The game room was fun. The house did need a little maintenance (light bulbs, clean air filters, running toilet, and outlets not working) but nothing that really ruined our stay. The price was also fair for the rental. Our family did have a great time.

Our stay was wonderful. We had 6 adults and 6 children under the age of 10. The place had plenty of games to keep the kids entertained all day. We had so much fun in the house that we didn't even bother going to the Rec Room the community offered. We also had so much fun in the fire pit making smores and memories. A lot of deer and that was pleasant to see especially for the kids. There is a pool and volley set up in the community. We didnt get to enjoy that because our kids really wanted to play soccer in the field instead. There's a small playground for the little ones and huge soccer field. Our host, Nathan was very informative and very responsive. We really enjoyed our time in the house. If you have kids or teens this would be perfect place for you.

We stayed here with a group of 10 women and had a wonderful experience. The home was beautifully decorated and had tons of cute personal touches that made our stay even more special. Definitely recommend!

The house is beautiful! Thoughtful decor, love the little fun facts throughout the house, well-organized and labeled, VERY comfortable bedding and furniture. (My fam are all bedding snobs and everyone approved) It was perfect for our family getaway, (8 adults, 4 kids) the kids played downstairs with Sesame Street or Disney on the tv and the adults hung upstairs playing games or watching some movies. Since the weather was a bit rough, we were able to make s’mores in the fireplace inside, the whole fam was snuggled in around the fireplace, playing board games and watching the kids dance and run around like little crazies. The kitchen was well stocked for our family meals. Nathan was wonderfully responsive to a few minor things that came up. We would totally recommend this property!

The house was great! 10 friends from college got together again after not seeing each other for about 7-8 years and had a great time! Although all the boat rentals at Lake Wallenpaupack were taken, the amenities at the house and the nearby community pools and lakes were more than enough! Just enough room to also play some cornhole on the property too. We also encountered some wildlife too! A racoon visited the deck at night, a skunk near the fire pit, and a black bear scratched at the tree in the front driveway. That was a bit scary but luckily everyone was inside when he arrived. Having the pillows and linens already at the house was a HUGE plus! Nearest grocery store is a Weis about 10 mins away, so we took full advantage of cooking our own food, grilling, and enjoying the entire house. The neighbors and everyone at he pools/lake were super friendly and welcoming as well. We also left some cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla in the pantry for the next guests! It's a must for some great Trench toast! Great place, great stay!

We were thrilled with our stay! This property allowed our family to host a reunion of 20 during the day and 13 at night and keep all engaged and cared for. The kitchen and eating are were more than adequate. The three bathrooms and laundry services always had hot water. The pool was within walking distance, and it was a short ride to the two different beaches in the association. Thanks for a wonderful time!

We just checked out of this property as I am typing. The home was clean and welcoming. They had everything well stocked in the kitchen making life easy when traveling with a family of 12. Plenty on bedrooms to fit us all. Roku smart tvs that had everything and anything to watch was a plus when traveling with 2 year old twins. You must bring your own towels, bath and beach but not a big deal. Washer and dryer was nice to have and use when needed. Beaches are a drive away which they mention and can get very confusing when trying to find. Large pool with slide was closed during our stay due to life guard shortage but the other big pool was open and heated. Deer lake was awesome, clean beach too. We traveled to other beaches in the area as well. Promised land park was great. We did the train ride in honesdale which was good. Little towns with shopping amd a fun candy store. Overall, our stay was great and as always, went to fast. We would definitely stay again. Owners were prompt in any messages we sent but nothing was needed from them. If you have a large family and are traveling to the area, this is the place. Driveway fits 4-5 vehicles and we traveled with 3 large trucks and 1 car.

Overall an excellent experience for my family of 4 + friends! 6 adults upstairs for cooking, cards, cocktails and catching up while the 6 kids had a ball in their own play friendly space downstairs!
I enjoyed the nice touches (hand and kitchen soap, tp, brita pitcher, salt/pepper sugar…) that not every vrbo rental will afford you. Having access to ALL the streaming apps was also great
We came in the winter, so i’ll caution future renters to CALL AND CONFIRM indoor pool hours…we made the mistake of visiting and reading a pool hours sign that apparently was incomplete and incorrect
In Dec 2021 pool is lap swim 8-12, free swim 6-9pm. It goes without saying that the kids were disappointed since we tried to squeeze it in right before check out only to be turned away since our kiddos can’t swim laps. Luckily we found trails, playgrounds and deer sightings to keep the kids smiling on our daily excursions.

Our stay was great! The place was fantastic, perfect size. It was very clean. We had plenty for space for 9 adults and 3 kids.
Make sure you pack all items you will need because the nearest store is at least 15 mins away.
The facilities of the neighborhood were nice. Only negative was that the facilities have a lot of rules. The pool had specific times for different age groups.
The area is beautiful. While we were packing up we had a mom dear and her baby deer almost walk right up to us.
We will definitely stay again. We highly recommend this property.

Could not have been happier with our stay and the house!!! Very clean and accommodating for our large group plus all the kids! Check in process was extremely easy as well as any communication with owners! Only complaint I could have is the boat marina which had nothing to do with the house! (If you are looking to take a trip and plan to be on the water you might wanna look up alternatives to get your boat in and out aside from the community marina) The house was just like the pictures with activities for all! The fire pit was a nice addition to enjoy some out door fun! I would definitely book again!! If you have a large group this is the house for you!!

The house was very nice. It was well decorated and organized. Even the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen were labeled which made it easy to find things. The host was extremely kind and answered all my texts and messages quickly.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. A storm knocked out the internet on day one and there was no hot water (not sure if that was due to the storm, too) but we were able to communicate with the owner right away, and he rectified the problems quickly. The house was roomy, clean, and great for our family. The main road that it’s on is somewhat busy, so I’m not sure how the location would be for families with little ones. Overall, we had a super time!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The new paint, furnishings and decor made a world of difference. Anything we could want or need was supplied (blankets, kitchen wear, cleaning products, games etc). It was wonderful not having to worry about bringing all of those items. Owner was very responsive and friendly. We look forward to staying again.

We found this property in 2020 but had to reschedule to 2021 due to Covid.
The house fit our needs perfectly with plenty of bedrooms, open living space and a stocked kitchen. Josh was very communicative and assured our requests and needs were met. Josh asked for feedback and it was shared--a welcome request to assure his future guests have everything they need to insure a great stay.

I would definitely recommend this property to everyone. House spacious. Lot of room for kids to play. Unfortunately we were out of luck. As it was no snow. But area beautiful. With snow I imagine even more. Owners responding to calls fast. And any issues we had were resolved. Well definitely visit again.
