Argdivan Hostel

Staff were really friendly and helpful, giving lots of advice and helping to organise tours and shuttles. The showers were hot, and everything was clean and well organised.

Nice communal facilities and hangout spaces, and good information and tour offering.

Terrible dorm, which requires a refurb (and 1 fewer bunks shoved in it). Terrible smell in the dorm, and no windows to ventilate (as mentioned in other reviews). Air con turned itself off at 3am each night, and when this was queried, we were first told this setting is at the direction of the owner, and then that the machine didn’t allow the settings to be adjusted… either way, not acceptable and disingenuous when selling an “ACed” dorm. Everyone woke up hot and sweaty in a smelly dorm each morning. Top bunks laughably close to the ceiling, like being in a coffin. Rickety old things with pointlessly small shelves. Breakfast also terrible for the price - don’t bother spending money on a breakfast included rate.
